None has appeared on behalf of the appellant.

Learned counsel Sh. T.S. Bindra for respondents has appeared.

We have perused the registered notice (paper No. 77) which was dispatched by the counsel for the appellant on dated 11.04.2023 intimating the appellant that neither the appellant is receiving the telephonic calls, nor making any contact to him. Hence, in such circumstances the counsel is unable to contest the appeal.

Inspite of the issuance of such notice, the appellant has not appeared before this Commission.

In such circumstances, we are of the view that the appellant is not interested to proceed his appeal.

The appeal is very old.  Hence, we are of the definite view that in the absence of appellant the appeal should be dismissed.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed. No order as to costs of the appeal.

File be consigned to the record room alongwith copy of this order.

A copy of this order alongwith original record of the District Commission be sent to the concerned District Commission for perusal and necessary information.
