Heard counsel for the petitioner.

          The above revision petition has been filed against the order of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Koraput at Jeypor, dated 20.10.2016 passed in CC/21/2015 whereby the complaint has been allowed and the opposite parties were jointly and severally directed to take steps to make necessary correction in respect of documents and to register the vehicle with Regional Transport Authority, Koraput at their own costs and pay Rs.5000/- each to the complainant towards compensation and costs and the order of State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission dated 11.02.2023 disposing of the appeal in view of the order of Lok Adalat.

          The argument of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a financier and so far as loan document is concerned, name of the complainant has been correctly written in the loan document.  There is no deficiency on the part of the petitioner.  The only deficiency in service at the most can only be alleged against the Opposite parties-1 & 2 and there is no liability of the opposite party-3. In the fact of the case, the revision petition is allowed at this stage and the order of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum is modified holding that M/s. Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd., Opposite party-3 is not liable to make any correction or to pay cost and compensation.
