             Shri Ajay Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioner.

             None for the respondent.

             Heard.

             This revision petition is directed against the order dated 03.12.2018 passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Mandsaur (for short ‘Forum’) in complaint case no.159/18, whereby the Forum has closed the right of the petitioner/ opposite party of  filing reply on the ground that the time to file the reply has elapsed.

            Having gone through the reasons stated in the revision petition which reflects sufficient cause for not filing the reply within time, we deem it proper to condone the delay.  However, there appears to be negligence on the part of the petitioner, in the circumstances, we are of the view by imposing some cost on the petitioner, the petitioner can be granted some time to file reply.   

                We accordingly, direct that on petitioner paying costs of Rs.3000/- to the respondent within one week from the date of appearance before the Forum, the Forum shall take the reply of the petitioner, if filed,  within seven days from the date of appearance.

                With the aforesaid directions, the impugned order is set aside.

                The parties are directed to appear before the Forum on 04.03.2020.       

                The revision petition is disposed of.
