ORDER

                   By way of this revision petition prayer is made for recalling of the order dated 21.11.2017 passed by the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum (North East), Delhi in CC No.156/2017 whereby which the petitioner/OP has been proceeded ex-parte.

                 After some arguments, counsel for respondent/complainant states that for effective disposal of the case on merits, respondent has no objection if the petitioner/OP is allowed to participate in the proceedings and prayer made in the petition be allowed subject to payment of costs.

          In view of the reasoning given and also with the consent of the respondent/complainant, as well as keeping in mind the interest of justice and for effective disposal of the case on merits, we accept the present petition and set aside the impugned order subject to payment of costs of Rs.5,000/- to the respondent/complainant, which shall include the costs of Rs.500/- imposed by the District Forum for non filing of written statement. 

          It is stated that the next date before the District Forum is 17.05.2018. On the said date the petitioner shall pay costs of Rs.5,000/- to respondent/complainant. After the payment of the payment, District Forum shall take on record the written statement of the petitioner/OP and shall proceed further in the matter in accordance with law.

          File be consigned  to Record Room.
