The matter was passed over twice.   There is no appearance on behalf of the respondent. The present case pertains to theft of electricity.

 In view of the order passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court in “U.P. Power   Corporation   Ltd.  and others Vs. Anis Ahmed” (Civil Appeal No.5466 of 2012 decided on 1.7.2013), the complaint filed by the respondent/complainant  in the present case before the District Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, is not maintainable. Accordingly,   present  revision   petition  filed  by  the petitioners/opposite parties stands allowed and complaint filed before the District Forum stands dismissed.

          However, liberty is granted to the respondent to seek appropriate remedy available to him before the appropriate Forum.

          With these observations, present petition stands disposed of.
