          The complaint is that the complainant is a consumer of respondents as he holds  a telephone connection from the respondents.  The telephone apparatus  became functionless from 25/5/09 onwards and it was made functioning only on 20/6/09 even after several requests.  The complainant suffered much difficulties because of the  non functioning of the telephone.  So a lawyer notice was issued but no remedy.  Hence the complaint.

          2. Respondents remains exparte.

          3. The complainant filed affidavit and Exhibit P1  document.

          4. There is no evidence to the contrary.

          5. In the result the complaint is allowed and the respondents are directed to pay Rs.2,000/-(Rupees Two thousand only) as compensation within a month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
