Today is fixed for admission hearing.

A petition U/S 34(2)(b) of the CP  Act, 2019 is filed for the complainant and the same is registered as MA/245/2024.

Neither the complainant nor her recorded Advocate is present.  Representative of the complainant is present and she prays for adjournment of the admission hearing. 

On scrutiny it appears that the instant Consumer Complaint was instituted on 29.04.2024 and the matter was fixed on 15.05.2024 for admission hearing and on that date the complainant prayed for time for admission hearing. Even the complainant again prays for time on the ground that she is not ready for hearing today.

On the above it appears that 21 days has been elapsed and as such we are not inclined to admit the Consumer Complaint in its present form and rejected accordingly.

The MA/245/2024 stands dismissed.

However, the complainant is at liberty file afresh on the same cause of action in the appropriate Commission and Court of law, if so advised, and if not, otherwise barred by law.
