IN THE KODAGU DISTRICT CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL FORUM MADIKERI,

O R D E R

    The complaint is partly allowed. The ops are directed to pay the   compensation to the complainant and his wife and children of each Rs.5,000/- total 20,000/-    and for mental agony each Rs.5,000/- total 20,000/- and   cost of the proceedings Rs.2,000/- within 30 days from the date of this order failing which the complainants  are  at  liberty  to   recover   a said total  amount  of  Rs.42,000/- with interest at the rate of 10% per annum from the date of this order till realization of the entire amount.

If this order is violated the complainant is also at liberty to file private complaint against opponent  for the offences punishable under section 27 of CP Act, which is punishable with imprisonment as well as fine.
