Case was taken-up today as 15.11.2013 was declared as holiday due to Muharram.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Petitioner has filed restoration application and submitted that revision petition was dismissed in default on 21.10.2013 as counsel for the petitioner went to collect cheque but could not come before this Commission in time due to traffic jam. In such circumstances, we deem it proper to allow the restoration application for the reasons mentioned in the application. Consequently, Miscellaneous Application No. 698/2013 is allowed and order dated 21.10.2013 passed by this Commission in Revision Petition No. 2463/2013 hriram General Insurance Co. Ltd. versus Gurshinder Singh & Anr.is recalled. Revision petition is restored at its original number. Issue notice as per order dated 24.07.2013, to the respondents returnable on 04.03.2014. Petitioner is directed to supply new address of respondent no. 2.
