The Advocate for complainant is present and files electricity bills from Feb 2009 to October, 2014 along with the original letter No. 850 dt 10-06-2008 regarding payment of Rs 4,313/- 30% of the arrears of Rs 14,377.75 paisa. The complainant paid Rs 4,363/- on 16.06.2008. There after he has not filed the electric bills till Jan 2009. He has prayed the above paid amounting as 16.06.2008 has not been adjusted. Therefore the cause of action arose from 16.0.2008. Though he has mentioned the cause of action arose on 22.12.2014. When the OP threatened to disconnect the power supply but no disconnection notice is filed. Since the complainant is agitating regarding non -adjustment of electric bill since 16.06.2008 which is more than six years till filing of this complainant, the complainant is beyond period of limitation of two years. Hence the complaint is rejected.
