7.                     It was the bounden duty of the opposite parties to have attended to those complaints and carry out necessary repairs to remove the defect(s) pointed out by the complainant. However, what to talk of removing the defects, they even failed to attend to the complaints lodged by the complainant. The Opposite parties did not appear to controvert the averments of the complainant. On the other hand, the complainant has also filed his duly sworn affidavit in support of his averments in the complaint.

i)            To repair the defect in the AC in question, of the complainant, to his satisfaction without charging anything for the same. 

ii)          To pay Rs.10,000/- as compensation for mental agony and harassment caused to the complainant

iii)        To pay Rs.5,000/- as costs of litigation.
