                             Challenge in this appeal is to the order 03.01.2018 passed by District Forum, Gurgaon whereby while accepting the complaint case No. 383 of 2015 filed by complainant Yogesh Kumar Chauhan, following relief was granted to him:-

“We direct the OP No.1 to repair the said Sofa Bed free of costs while treating the same within the warranty of first year without charging any amount and further to pay a sum of Rs.2100/- as compensation for mental agony, harassment as well as costs of proceedings.”

However, during the course of arguments, learned counsel for the parties have stated that they have compromised the matter. In this regard counsel for the appellant has suffered the following statement, which has been recorded separately:-

“Statement of Mr. Suresh Kumar Kaushik, counsel for the appellant.                                                                                      W/o

 

          Stated that I do not want to pursue the matter being the matter has been compromised between the parties as per statements dated 26.07.2018.”
