Final Order / Judgement

          Ld. counsel for the Opposite Parties has made a following statement before this Commission:-

          “Stated that as per the instructions received from the company, the company is ready to pay an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- as full and final settlement of the claim regarding the policy no.P/211222/01/2022/010580, Renewal Endorsement No.P.211222/01/2023/012976 within the period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of the order.”

          On the other hand, complainant no.1/Faqir Chand has come present in person and made a following statement:-

          “Stated that I have heard the statement of ld. counsel for the Opposite Parties and I am ready to receive the payment of Rs.2,00,000/- as full and final settlement of my claim. In view of the commitment/offer made by the Opposite Parties, I withdraw the present complaint. However I reserve my right to pursue the legal recourse, in case, Opposite Parties failed to make the payment as committed/offered.”

          In view of the statement made by complainant no.1, the present complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, complainant is at liberty for legal recourse, in case, Opposite Parties failed to make the payment as committed/offered. Copy of the order be supplied to the parties, free of costs. File be consigned to record room after compliance.
