Heard counsel for the petitioner. The complaint filed by the respondent was dismissed by the District Forum but the State Commission on perusal of the record as also the matter has rightly awarded Rs.2,000/- on account of delay in supplying the cylinder even though the complainant had taken double gas cylinder connection. In our opinion, the order passed by the State Commission is just, fair and equitable and only a nominal compensation of Rs.2,000/- has been awarded which does not call for interference in exercise of revisional jurisdiction under Section 21(b) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 as we do not find any illegality, material irregularity or jurisdictional error. The revision is accordingly dismissed with no order as to costs.
