Present application has been moved by learned Counsel on behalf of applicant/appellant in Appeal No. 1256 of 2012 Ratan Industries V/s M/s Dewan Sugar Limited for refund of Rs.25,000/- deposited by appellant under Section-15 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 in this appeal.

Copy of judgment and order dated 31-08-2017 passed by a bench of this State Commission in said appeal has been annexed with the application. It shows that appeal has been allowed. The impugned judgment and order passed by District Consumer Forum has been set aside.

In view of above, the above amount deposited in the above appeal under Section-15 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 shall be refunded to the appellant alongwith interest, if any, accrued in accordance with rules.

Application is disposed of accordingly.
