ORDER

Heard counsel for the petitioner. Appeal was dismissed by the State Commission on the ground of delay of 663 days. The explanation for delay in filing the appeal given by the petitioner in paragraph No.2 of the application is :- hat the appellant is an organization wherein their official are in busy in supplying & maintaining the electric supply to the consumers and were busy in Targets of recovery and further the matter was referred to the higher authorities for seeking instructions. That the delay in filing the above noted case is not intentional and deliberate. It is submitted that the delay in filing the appeal is due to that reasons therefore the appeal could not be filed in due time, thus the delay occurred due to this reason of the appellant are bonafide and the same is deserves to be condoned in the interest of justice. -2- The above reasons by no stretch of imagination are sufficient to condone the delay. The said reasons in our opinion are no reasons for condoning 663 days delay. The State Commission has very rightly dismissed the appeal on the ground of delay. In view of this, we are not inclined to entertain the revision. The revision petition is, therefore, dismissed with costs of Rs.10,000/- to be deposited with Consumer Legal Aid Account of this Commission within a period of six weeks by the petitioner failing which no matter of the petitioner shall be registered by the Registry. The application has been filed merely to delay the execution and deprive to complainant to reap the fruits of the decree.
