Complainant/petitioner has filed the revision petition against an interim order passed by the State Commission directing the respondent to release the electric connection in favour of the petitioner on furnishing bank guarantee of 50% of the outstanding amount of the previous owner excluding the security deposited, surcharge and interest.  We are not inclined to interfere with the

interim order passed by the State Commission.  The order passed by the State Commission is just and appropriate.  The petitioner has been directed to furnish the bank guarantee of 50% of the outstanding amount of previous owner.  Otherwise, the petitioner could be required to pay the entire arrears/dues of the previous owner in view of the judgment of Supreme Court in “Pashimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. & Ors. Vs. DVS Steels & Alloys Pvt. Ltd. & Ors. (2009) 1 SCC 210”.  Dismissed.
