Notice was issued to the petitioner by Registered AD Post, on 20.2.2014. AD card has not been received back. Since, more than 30 days have lapsed, petitioner shall be deemed to have been served. Present case pertains to heft of Electricity In view of the decision of Hon’ble Supreme Court in U.P. Power Corporation Ltd. and Ors. Vs. Anis Ahmed (Civil Appeal No. 5466 of 2012) decided on 01.07.2013, the complaint filed in the present case before the District Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 is not maintainable. Consequently, present revision petition is also not maintainable and the same is hereby dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner/complainant to seek appropriate remedy available to him before the appropriate Forum. Copy of the order be sent to both parties.
