Heard petitioner in person.

At the very outset petitioner Afsar Alam, who has appeared in person has submitted that he does not wish to press this petition with regard to the prayers made and his grievance will stand redressed if appropriate directions be made to the State Commission to expeditiously dispose of the matter so that justice may be done with him.

In the wake of the submissions made by petitioner Afsar Alam, present in person, the petition stands disposed of as not pressed. 

Learned State Commission is requested to please take adequate steps and make an endeavour to expeditiously conclude the proceedings of the pending appeals at the earliest.
