AWARD

          Vide his separate statement recorded on 10.9.2024 the ld.Counsel for the OPs along with Sh.Surjit Singh Clerk of MC, Chandigarh stated that an amount of Rs.1873/- is payable by the MC, Chandigarh to the complainants as the remaining excess amount paid by the complainants with the OP has already been adjusted in the previous bills and the complainants have agreed that the aforesasid amount of Rs.1873/- be adjusted in the next Assessment Bill

2]        Vide separate statement Sh.Gaurav Gupta, Legal heir of deceased complainant Sh.Jai Bhagwan Gupta for himself as well as for other legal heirs of complainant, stated that he admits the aforesaid statement of ld.Counsel for the OPs and the present complaint be disposed of in National Lok Adalat to be held on 14.9.2024.

3]        In view of the statements of the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following award:-

1. The OP shall adjust the excess payment of Rs.1873/- in the next Assessment Bill of the complainants, failing which they shall be liable to pay the same along with interest @9% per annum from the due date till payment.

4]        The award is accordingly passed. Complaint stands disposed of in above terms.

5]        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
