          The Complainants and the O.P. / Insurance Company who filed one joint petition to compromise which is referred to this LOK ADALAT for settlement.

          The Complainant and the O.P. / Insurance Company by filing the petition stated that they have negotiated the case for amicable settlement and arrived at an agreement to settle and withdraw the case for the sum of Rs. 1,96,086/-. The Complainant waived the rest of claim and the Insurance Company agreed to pay settlement amount of Rs. 1,96,086/- within 03 (three) months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order / award. The parties prayed for an award / order in terms of the compromise petition.

          Considering the joint petition, we find that the parties agreed to settle the case in terms of the joint petition that the O.P. / Insurance Company shall pay Rs. 1,96,086/- as agreed in the joint petition. We find that the compromise is voluntarily and it should be recorded and the case should be disposed of in terms of the said joint petition.

Hence,

It is Ordered:-

          That the case being No. C.C.16/2021  is disposed off in terms of the joint petition of the parties and the O.P. / Insurance Company is to pay Rs. 1,96,086/- to the Complainants as per joint petition of the parties.

          Let a copy of this order be given to the parties free of cost.
