ORDER

We have heard the Learned Counsel for the Petitioners and perused the impugned order dated 17.05.2018, passed by the Punjab State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at Chandigarh (for short “the State Commission”), whereby a sum of ₹4,20,000/- has been awarded in favour of Respondent No.1/Complainant as insurance compensation under the policy issued by the Petitioners.

It is not in dispute that the Complainant suffered partial disability to the extent of 42%, as per the certificate issued by the Medical Board.  The sum assured was ₹10,00,000/-.  The State Commission has rightly awarded ₹4,20,000/- i.e. within the assured sum of ₹10,00,000/-. 

In view of the above, we do not find any good ground to interfere with the impugned order in our revisional jurisdiction.

The Revision Petition fails and is dismissed accordingly.
