Heard Counsel for the parties.

            The State Commission has awarded 12% interest per annum from the date of maturity till the date of payment.  The revision has been admitted limited to interest.    In the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the opinion that the interest @ 12% per annum after the maturity date till payment is excessive and call for interference.  In our opinion, in the facts and circumstances of the case, 6% interest per annum from the date of maturity till the date of payment is just, fair and equitable.  The revision is accordingly partly allowed and the liability of the petitioner shall be to pay 6% interest from the maturity date till the date of payment. In the facts and circumstances, there shall be no order as to cost.
