Case taken up today as 28.11.2022 was declared public holiday under the orders of Chandigarh Administration and notice was placed on the official website & notice board of this Commission that case shall be taken up for effective hearing on 03.01.2023. Copy of the notice placed on the file. At this stage, vide his separate statement, counsel for complainant has stated that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and as per settlement, the complainant has received an amount of Rs.15,000/- from OP No.2 through demand draft towards full & final settlement in the present consumer complaint and hence he does not want to proceed with the present consumer complaint and prayed that the same may be dismissed as withdrawn being fully satisfied. In view of the statement made by the counsel for complainant, the present consumer complaint is dismissed as withdrawn being fully satisfied. Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned. |
