The record is put u[p today on the strength of  advance petition filed by the learned counsel for the OP. Learned counsel for the complainant has seen the petition without objection.

             Learned counsel for the complainant has filed a memo with prayer to drop and close the case on the ground that the complainant does not want to proceed with the case as the matter has been settled by the parties. Since this is an old case, the prayer is allowed. The  case is dropped and closed as withdrawn. Record need not be put up  on the date fixed i.e. on 23/08/2018.
