ORDER
Heard Mr H.S. Thangkhiew, learned senior counsel for the Appellant and also heard Mr. S.P.Sharma, learned counsel for the Respondent. It is submitted by Mr. H.S. Thangkhiew the learned senior counsel that the Appellant is willing to abide by the order passed by the District Forum on 10.07.2002 in CC No 11 of 2001 and CC No 12 of 2001 in so far as the direction to pay an interest of 12 percent on the amount of Rs 22000 Twenty two thousand only for the period from 06.09.2000 to 21.05.2001 to each of the Complainant and Respondent before us.
In addition to the said amount the Appellant is willing to pay the cost of Rs 5000 Five thousand only to each of the Complainant the Respondents in these appeals.
Mr SP Sharma learned counsel for the Respondent fairly submitted that both the Respondents are willing to accept the said offer made by the Appellant.
In view of the above submission made by the counsels of the parties we direct the appellant to pay the interst of 12 percent on the amount of Rs 22000 Twenty two thousand only for the period from 06.09.2000 to 21.05.2001 to each of the Complainant and the Respondent in these appeals. The Appellant is also directed to pay the cost of Rs. 5000 Five thousand to each of the Complainant and Respondents in these appeals.
The payment is to be made within thirty days from today.
Both the appeals are disposed off accordingly.
Let the copy of this order be furnished to the counsels of both parties.
