ORDER

 

 

  1. Appellant-/opposite party has apprised the State Commission that the parties have been able to settle the matter amicably. As per the settlement, the respondent/complainant has agreed to return the double bed along with almirah (side table) to the appellant/opposite party and on his doing so, the appellant/opposite party  to return the amount of Rs.15,000/- to the respondent/complainant. He has further submitted that in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, there is no grievance between the parties.
  2. The respondent/complainant has affirmed the factum of compromise arrived at between the parties. He has further submitted that he shall hand over the double bed along with almirah (side table) to the appellant/opposite party during the course of the date. He has also submitted that there is no dispute left between the parties with the settlement arrived at between the parties.
  3. In view of the settlement between the parties, the appeal is hereby disposed of.
  4. Needless to say that the parties shall remain bound by the terms and conditions of the settlement arrived at between the parties.
  5. Application(s) pending, if any, stand disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order.
  6. The statutory amount of Rs.11,300/- deposited by the appellant at the time of filing of the appeal be disbursed in favour of the appellant against proper receipt and identification but in accordance with rules.
  7. A copy of this order be provided to all the parties free of cost as mandated by the law. The order be uploaded forthwith on the website of the Commission for the perusal of the parties.
  8. File be consigned to record room along with a copy of this order.
