1.   This appeal has been filed under section 19 of The Consumer Protection Act, 1986 in challenge to the Order dated 20.11.2018 of the State Commission in complaint no. 69 of 2017 vide which the State Commission had dismissed the complaint on merit.

2.   Repeatedly called out, intermittently.

      No one appears.

3.   A perusal of the record shows that on 20.12.2021 no one had appeared on behalf of the appellant. However notice was ordered to be issued. The same could not be issued by the Registry since the respondents’ sets of the paper-book had not been filed by the appellant. Again on 13.05.2022 no one appeared on behalf of the appellant. Yet again today no one appears for the appellant.

4.   The appeal is dismissed in default for lack of prosecution. 

However, in the interest of justice, liberty is provided to the appellant to get his appeal restored if he so wishes by filing appropriate application within 30 days.  

5.   The Registry is requested to send a copy each of this Order to the parties in the appeal and to their learned counsel immediately. The stenographer is requested to upload this Order on the website of this Commission immediately.
