None appeared for the petitioner even after service. Honle Apex Court has decided case of .P. Power Corporation Ltd. & Ors. Vs. Anis Ahmedand has held that cases falling under Section 126 or 135 of the Electricity Act are not amenable to consumer fora. In this matter on account of tampering meter, bill was raised against the petitioner. The District Forum dismissed complaint and the State Commission, vide impugned order, upheld order of the District Forum and affirmed dismissal of complaint. In the light of judgment of Honle Apex Court in .P. Power Corporation Ltd. & Ors. Vs. Anis Ahmedcase, as complaint was not maintainable before the District Forum, revision petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to seek redressal of his grievance from the appropriate authority appointed under Indian Electricity Act. Revision petition stands dismissed.
