The complainant had purchased a cat men's council Navy blue sneakers of UK 8 size through opposite party's website. But the size of the same was small to his leg and he had returned it through proper channel. According to the complainant, the opposite party is not ready to return the money, though they had special provision for returning their articles. Hence this complaint.

Though notice was issued, the opposite parties were absent, when the case was called and hence they set exparte.

The complainant filed Chief Affidavit and Ext. A1 to A4 were marked. No contra evidence was adduced and so the case of the complainant stands prooved.

Heard the complainant and in the light of the available records we are passing the following order.

The opposite parties shall jointly and severally remit an amount of Rs.3380/- being the value of the article along with a compensation of Rs.10,000/- and a cost of Rs.3000/- to the complainant, failing which, opposite parties shall further pay 6% interest upon the above amount from the date of pronouncement of this order.

This order shall be complied within one month from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
