The appellant NDMC has impugned the orders dt. 20.07.2011 passed by the District Forum VI. Vide impugned orders the Ld. District Forum had directed the Appellant/NDMC to club all the electricity meters in the premises bearing No. 15-A, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, New Delhi-110001, into one meter. Ld. District Forum had also directed the appellant/NDMC to disconnect the meter No. K-1318. Compensation including litigation expenses to the tune of Rs. 25,000/- were also awarded. During the course of arguments, Dr. Indira Tiwari, National General Secretary, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has made a statement (recorded separately) to the effect that she does not press for clubbing of all the meters into one in this Commission provided meter bearing No. K-1318 is disconnected. Ld. Counsel for the Appellant/NDMC Sh. Santosh Kumar has submitted that NDMC has no objection on disconnection of the meter No. K-1318. In the circumstances, let meter No. K-1318 be disconnected by the appellant/NDMC within a period of one week from today. The respondent Dr. Indira Tiwari, National General Secretary, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha is bound to make payment of all the outstanding dues against meter No. K-1318 within a period of ten days after tendering of all electricity bills to her by the appellant.
Compensation including litigation expenses of Rs. 25,000/- awarded by the Ld. District Forum are waived of as per statement made by Dr. Indira Tiwari, National General Secretary, Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha. Appeal is accordingly disposed of.
