We have heard Adv. Kiran Patil on behalf of the Appellants on the point of admission of this appeal.  We understand the difficulties of the Appellants/Institutes in getting a substitute student at the last moment.  However, that aspect cannot be considered since the Hon’ble National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in the matters of Nipun Nagar Vs. Symbiosis Institute of International Business ~ I-(2009)-CPJ-03-(NC) [which decision is relied by the learned District Forum] has already held relying on the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission, that maximum amount that can be deducted in case of a student/candidate withdrawing from the programme by an Institute is Rs.1,000/-.  Thus, we find no error or illegality in the order under challenge passed by the learned District Forum.  Hence, the appeal is not admitted and stands dismissed in limine.
