ORDER

Learned counsel for petitioner in Maruti Udyog Ltd. in (RP No.3620 of 2007) on instruction has offered to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- to the respondent Mr.Abhinav Tyagi in full and final settlement of his claim under the consumer complaint No.1024 of 2006 filed before District Forum (East) without prejudice to the rights and pleas.  Learned counsel for the petitioner has given an undertaking on behalf of the petitioner that if the petitioner’s offer is accepted, the petitioner shall pay the aforesaid amount to the respondent by way of Bank Draft/Bankers Cheque, within four weeks from today.  Shri Avneesh Garg, counsel for the respondent/complainant accepts this offer on his behalf and seeks to withdraw his complaint.

In view of the above settlement arrived at between the parties, the consumer complaint is dismissed as withdrawn and the revision petition is disposed of accordingly.

Petitioner/Maruti Udyog Ltd. shall be bound by its undertaking.
