False representation of company
I have a 2 year contract running with Eureka Forbes service centre that will expire in 2011. Last year , in Nov 2010 , a representative of Puricom visited my residence and falsely stated that the Eureka Forbes service centre had closed down and talked me into signing a fresh contract for 2 years ( 16.11.2010 to 15.02.2013) with an additional incentive for 3 months taking the contract period to 27 months. My aquaguard unit was also serviced on that day and candles changed. Within two days , I had the representative visit from the Eureka Forbes service centre ( where I have a running contract) and confirmed that I had been duped. I called up Puricom and with great difficulty was able to get a verbal confirmation on the possibility of cancellation of the contract . This call was followed up by a written letter sent on 22.11.2010. Since this date , it has been a constant follow up to get the balance amount ( deducting charges for the single service provided by them) refunded. The company acknowledged receipt of the letter but is yet to refund the amount due to me. Numerous calls have failed to have the desired impact and apart from endless wait time at the reception level ( lady by the name of Anju) I have not been able to get past to a managerial level person. I consider this as customer harassment after false representation of facts to a customer in abid to sign additional contarcts for Puricom.
