Hi, I am Amit from Bangalore. I registered a complaint in Haier India Service center on 19th December 2011 for my washing machine. There was a terrible sound coming from the washing machine during the rotation. The complaint numbers are: BAN1112150031 and BAN1112190013.

On the very first day after placing the complaint, the engineer showed up at my door. He checked the Washing machine only with water (without putting clothes in it) and there was no sound. I insisted on checking it thoroughly since I was certain about the defect with my washing machine. He removed few parts but did not have sufficient tools (or he was not trained enough) to open the core of the washing machine. He kept on saying that there is no problem with the machine, even though he wasn't able to open it completely. The engineer collected the servicing amount and left.

Immediately after he left, we tried to wash a bed sheet and yet again, the washing machine started giving the trouble. I again called up the engineer asking him to come back and check the washing machine. He told that we need to place a new complaint for the problem, which I did. A different engineer showed up after a week and removed all the parts of the machine. He told that there is one faulty part which needs to be replaced and I am responsible for getting the spare part. I had no clue where to get the spare part from so I called up customer care again and they told me that they themselves would arrange the part and send it within couple of days.

After several calls over a period of two weeks, they kept on apologizing that the spare part was not available and as soon it is available, they'll send it with engineer to fix my dis-assembled washing machine. It's more than a month and there has been no call from HAIER INDIA. I called them couple of days back and insisted on talking to their supervisor. The executive connected the call to the supervisor but no one received the call.

I am completely repenting having bought this product from HAIER INDIA and for sure this would be my last product through them. But as of now the priority is to get my washing machine fixed.

Someone please guide me if I can take any legal action against them. My details are given below:
