my self santanu, i have bought a godrej washing machine from great eastern appliances pvt ltd,41 c,nsc bose rd kolkata 700040 on 19/02/2011.the item description is like this GODREJ GWT 5008 WAV/5.0 KG WM-WHITE . amount paid in full cash was 18900/-.

in the first case they were not able to make the machine fit as the service men who came was not able to tell what type of fittings would be reqd for the washing machine,i was forced to buy all the fittings which was supposed to be given with the appliance and i was forced to fit the washing machine by a local plumber.i am sure that the local plumber is more expert than the company service person.


now recently 3 months ago the machine has stopped working suddenly,i have lodged service requests a number of times but in vain. couple of times i have visited the great eastern also but every time they have contacted the company service centre and the issue is not yet resolved.each and every time the godrej company service makes an excuse and now for the last 3 months i am washing clothes by my maid servants by paying extra amount.two service personnels have come and told that the circuit box is damaged and would be replaced soon ,but i am highly dissatisfied with the bogous service and third class after sales service. i want to replace the damaged machine immediately.
