I purchased an IFB washing machine on the IFB website (IFBappliances dot com) on 25th July, 2011 and made payment of amount Rs. 9,590.00 in full through my credit card. It has been close to 3 months now and I have not yet received delivery of this product nor any information or update from IFB on the status of this order. I have made at least 8-9 phone calls to their customer care over this period and even asked for a refund but there has been no response or action from their side. I have even sent them 5-6 emails requesting them for refund if they cannot deliver this product but again no response.
I am completely frustrated and irritated with this attitude towards a customer and have decided never to deal with IFB again or to use any of their products. I am now seeking compensation for the trouble and harassment along with a refund of the amount that I have paid along with interest and would like to lodge a complaint in this regard.
