    I bought a fully automatic front loading 6.5 kg Whirlpool Sensation Elite Washing Machine in May'08, The Washing machine is under 2 years warranty. On 08th August'09, the machine stopped working. I called up whirlpool call centre on 18601804558 on the same day and lodged a complaint with complaint number 2598.
    One Service Engineer Named Mr.Kamal form Visakhapatnam whirlpool authorized service center visited my house the same day and after seeing the machine and myself explaining the complaint to him without even touching the machine, he said the PCB is gone and has to be replaced. He said it will be done in a week's time. Since then had been calling the local authorised dealer "Sri Sai Harshini Enterprises" Ph: 0891-6632599 and they have been saying today, tommrrw and kept on postponing. Today on the 14th day since the complaint, when I called the service centre, the service engineer Mr.Kamal who attended the machine came on line and says the part is not available, u have to wait one more week and starts speaking rudely.

    Now with all this, one can clearly understand what " A Customer means to Whirlpool". This is what whirlpool teaches it's service centers and it's engineers to behave with their customers. They don't respond well, they don't follow up, they don't keep their customers well informed. With almost Rs.24, 000 spending on the washing machine, it is lying completely useless for the past 2 weeks. We at home are facing hell of a time, washing all clothes by hand for the last 2 weeks. When it is under warranty, the company pays no attention to repairing the defective product and on top of that we, the customers have to live at their mercy. What is this,

    Hoping the above complaint is taken seriously and is dealt with the same seriousness. Please protect the Indian customers from such defaulting companies,

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    We've purchased Whirlpool Washing Machine ( SUPER WASH SI 60 - LIGHT ) on
    Nov 21, 2007. A person come there and says that there is Whirlpool Washing
    Machine have only warranty of Motor only other thing have no warranty. So
    there is problem with drier cover and many other thing. He takes Rs. 1500/-
    from us.
    I want to know about whether he is right that Whirlpool Washing Machine
    have only warranty of Motor only. For other thing they are not responsible.
    Please reply me as soon as possible.

    Sir,I am pained to inform you as to how I have been cheated by a reputed company
    Whirlpool Of India Limited . I had purchased washing machine Splash on 29/7/06.
    Since then the machine has been repaired four times . Fortunately I had taken Annual
    Maintenance Contract. A new product malfunctioning four times during a short period
    of three years tantamount to cheating the customers which is not expected from a
    company of repute .Presently the machine is off road since 27/10/09 and I
    have complained to their call center on daily basis . Assurance being given of
    repair soon. It's already nine days and i have been put to
    inconvenience because of my machine being non functionalSir how can a new product
    undergo repair 3-4 times in three years duration . I apprehend that every time the
    parts replaced are not original and therefore the machine needs repair each year
    /six months .Incidentally the machine has been repaired in the month of June 2009.
    On asking tele numbers of senior officials they are not given or number givens are
    not attended.May I request you to instruct the company to replace my machine as it
    has undergone repairs several times without any fault of mine. I am sanguine you
    would take appropriate action as deemed fit.

    Further to my recent conversation with your colleagues I am in the
    positition to inform you that I am raising a concern of whirlpool , which I
    purchased on 01-12- 2007 at S.C.Shah &Co LTD ,Annanagar showroom
    chennai,india (Model Whirlpool Sensation Neo).

    The Higher end washing machine was worked well Up to 14th Oct 2009, but
    immediate next date it was not working. I did usual works to swith on my
    machine but it was not functioning .

    I Called the customer service number(044-60008558) and got the service
    engineer to check out my Washing machine,My complaint number 51400 and name
    sathyabama .As per his statement Outer Drum is the problem and the cost
    around 3000 to 4000 rupees.I gave the approval for this replacement because
    of my machine was within 2 years warranty period, its expired on Dec2009
    end. After that He said currently this part was not available ,he promised
    to organise that part within four to five days ,But after one weeks i dint
    get the reply / confirmation with him.Then i speak to customer care to the
    same number ,she (Divya, 4/107,sathya nagar,Ramapuram whirlpool
    office,Chennai.) gave some manager number +919282329005.But this number is
    not working tried too many calls, what i can do??. I tried again nobody
    can't pick the phone. kindly arrange the parts as soon as possible (or) To
    solve this problem in a mutually agreeble way .The same i talk to shah at
    anna nagar also.
    a)why such an expensive Washing machine parts ,which is only 22 months old
    should breakdown.
    b)Why the parts not arranged by your service center.
    c)Why they are not taken immediate action,
    Hoping to receive an acnowledgement with appropriate resolution at the

    through your agreement is out of sense. I am expecting a decent deal
    that Re-arrange the parts for replacement.

    purchased a whirlpool washing machine on the date 19.10.2009 from
    Reliance digital Retail ltd, city center mall, lawate nagar ,nashik
    422002: phone no;0253-2309191 ; 0253-2309333.

    at this time on the whirlpool company give a skim on the washing machine. There is a
    scratch card on the washing machine. when we purchased this washing machine from
    reliance digital they should not have the scratch card so they tell we give scratch
    card to you after two days.

    But there is over 20 days gon but they not give the scratch card .

    Please see that matter and help me & reply me.

    I D.Vasu Sairam I purchased a Whirlpool Washing machine on 29/10/2007,from Rajkamal Electronics, Chandanagar, Hyderabad. It gives frequent problems, I informed your complaint cell, then they came and rectified not properly.
    recently I complained on 8th october 2009, regarding timer problem. But your service people are not rectified. Presently my washing machine is completely dead. On 2nd march 2010 I given complaint. But your service people are not attend .
    So we are very suffering with this problem. I kindly request you to please send your service people immediately.

    Default Complaint about "whitemagic" full automatic washing machine

    I purchased a full automatic 'Whitemagic' washing machine in August 2008. My machine is still in the waranty period. In October 2009 the motor of the machine was changed and now again the panel and the inlet knob are to be changed.

    I have lodged a complaint with the local customer care and they have been dorging me for the past one week. Niether the parts have been changed nor my problem solved.

    I find out form the customer after a number of telephone calls that the parts are not available with the company. They do not give me a definite date as to when the machine would be repaired.

    I have asked them to take back the washing machine as it is still in the warranty period and replace with a new one. They have denied my request for replacement also.

    I am brining to your notice to look into the problem else I would be compelled to go to the Consumer Court for redressel.

    Default Whirlpool washing Machine - Poor service

    Respected Sir

    I bought a fully automatic front loading 5.5.Kg whirlpool machine in January2009. The Washing machine is under 2 years warranty. On 18.03.2010 the machine stopped working and I called up the customer care centre and lodged a complaint with complaint No.310035560.

    Next Day one service Engineer came and after seeing the machine, he said that timer has gone and has to be replaced. But there is no response from the company. Whenever I called the service centre the immediate and ready made answer is “Parts are not received from Pondichery head office”. After 10 days later on 28.03.2010 a new Engineer came and after verifying the machine said that timer is O.K.and the front door has some problem and I will take a new parts and changed it tomorrow. And on 29.03.2010 another two engineers came and attended the machine and as usual they also tune the same song and gone.

    I was very much disappointed and frustrated called the Chennai service centre three times and reported the Service Manager (No.42142145) it also not fetch any fruit to me and in turn I asked him to convey the Fax No to launch a written complaint which was not given. As the service centre response is very poor, I asked the customer care to show the way where to go to complaint they told that they don’t know.

    In short my machine is not working for 13 days with out even identifying the correct reason by the engineers who attended. It is painful to remark that even a high reputed company has such a poor service net work. Since I don’t know where to complaint I kindly request you to guide.

    Whirlpool Sensation Elite Washing Machine

    I bought a fully automatic front loading 6.5 kg Whirlpool Sensation Elite Washing Machine in May'07, On 7th October'09, the machine stopped working. I called up whirlpool call centre on 02060008558 on the same day and lodged a complaint.

    One Service Engineer Named Mr.Atish form Pune whirlpool authorized service center visited my house the 2 days later and after seeing the machine said that the PCB is gone and has to be replaced. He said it will be done in a week's time. He came back after a month and replaced the PCB. Nothing happened. He then checked the machine again and said that the heater is gone and needs to be replaced. He came back after 2 months with and replaced the heater. Still the machine did not start. He then said that another PCB needs to be replaced. Since then till today I must have called them n number of times. I call up their superviser Mr. Radhakrishna. He replies saying that we need to change each part and check what the problem is. Is this the way any machine is repaired?

    Once a service engineer visits my home it takes another month for him to come back with another part. This kind of service is ridiculous. Its been 7 months now and the machine is lying idle. I call up the superviser almost thrice a week. But all i get is just reassurances that my machine will be fixed in 2 days.

    The service engineers are pathetic. They do not know what they are repairing. The most unprofessional engineers seen so far can be found in Whirlpool India Ltd. They don't respond well, they don't follow up, they don't keep their customers well informed and to add to all this they bar the customer mobile numbers. They may be one of the best selling products in the market. But when it comes to service they are pathetic. I have almost pitched out 25,000 from my pockets. We do not buy these products everyday.

    Is it not the responsibility of the company to protect the sentiments of the customer?
    I am at the loosing end no doubt. But the company is also at the loosing end. They loose the customers, the recommendations and tommorow if a new product is launched and they may be the best in the world for that product. But I will not go for it.

    Hoping the above complaint is taken seriously and is dealt with the same seriousness. Please protect the Indian customers from such defaulting companies,

    Please donot buy whirlpool fully automated washing machines....u have to spend several thousands after the warranty period..........

    I complained about my washing machine on the 01/07/10. My complaint
    number is MB0710000071. I was told I would get a call from the technician
    in 2 hours, and a visit the same day. It never happened, so I called
    again the next day and the technician came. He said that he couldn't fix
    machine, and would come back with another person. That didn't happen and
    I called every alternate day after that, and each time I was told that
    someone will call in two hours. Finally on 9th July I was told that they
    are waiting for a part and my machine will be repaired by Monday. Of
    course that didn't happen either.
    Today I called the service center and they said they are still waiting
    for the part. At whirlpool, such a big company, no spare parts? A person
    who has a contract with you has to wait for 15 days and more to get a
    machine repaired? What sort of service is that? I must say that your
    service is not just disappointing, it is PATHETIC!

    Hello,
    We suggest you to send a written notice via registered post to the CMD of Whirpool, mention all the details in it, attach photocopy of all the supporting document and ask them for the proper solution within the mentioned time in the notice.
    Wait for their response and revert us back.
    Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

    Default Replacement for damaged Whirlpool Washing machine has not been done yet

    I bought a fully automatic Whirlpool Whitemagic washing machine on 19th of June, 2010 from Technocity, Kolkata – 20. Though the item was delivered on time but the service person came after 1 week and when he opened the box he found that the body was damaged. So he told that he will report about it and the machine will be replaced. But nobody contacted us after that. We called the customer care several times and every time either they are giving a new contact number or they are saying they have noted down about the incident and it will be replaced within 2/3 days. Today is 14th of July, and till now no action has been taken to replace the machine.

    As you mentioned that you are facing the irresponsible attitude from Whirpool customer care,so we suggest you to send a written notice via registered post to the CMD of Whirpool, mention all the details in it, attach photocopy of all the supporting document and ask them for the replacement within the mentioned time in the notice.

    Default Every time failure 7 Kg fully automatic 6sence

    Dear Madam/Sir

    I have commited a mistake with thinking, I have purchased a washing machine of your brand from Big Bazar of Bangalore last year.

    Since last year, I am on my tows for giving a complain never it will complete one wash it will struck up in between and we have to call service person to coplete my wash.

    Never to think of buying this product.
