    Default IFB Washing Machine Complaint

    1. I had purchased an IFB Washing Machine Model executive Plus through the canteen sales department depot Ahmedabad on Receipt No. 16712 dated 24 Oct 08. I was not offered the ongoing scheme of Gold coin and Scratch card on purchase of IFB washing machine. The reason given By Mr Kapil Sengar , Area Manager , Ahmedabad, was that CSD customers get the item at lesser price. I explained to him that CSD is a privilege given to the Defence personnel in which sales taxes and other taxes are exempted hence the price comes less, however the company gets it full manufacturing cost from the customer. 2. The matter was taken up by me with the company as well as CSD authorities vide letters dated 26 Nov 08, 12 Jan 09, 16 May 09 and finally on 29 Jun 09. The fact was accepted and acknowledged by CSD authorities as well vide their letters from DGM (MS) CSD HQ Mumbai ref no 2/MS-14093/CPS/1667 dated 27 Oct 08, ref no 2/MS-14093/CPS/IFB/2315 dated 30 Jan 09 and ref no 2/MS-13125/URC/SBD dated 17 Jun 09 and Ahmedabad CSD Depot letters ref AHD/SGM/URCC/1233-A dated 06 Nov 08, AHD/SGM/URCC/1688 dated 28 Jan 09 and AHD/SGM/URCC/251 dated 09 Jun 08. They accepted that in contravention to the policy of sale in CSD the company was found discriminating between the customers of CSD and the open market and following unfair trade practices. 3. Three reminders were sent to the company by the CSD authorities in the letters mentioned above. However no response has been received from the company’s end till date. It is really unfortunate that the company is giving such a poor response to the soldiers of the country who are devoted to selfless service to the nation. Such situations are likely to be faced again by other defense personnel if the matter is not addressed at your end. 4. Therefore your intervention is requested for the resolution of the matter with appropriate compensation for the inconvenience faced by me as well as your prejudicial attitude towards de
    DamageOccured 1. I have been trying to evoke a response by communicating with the company since last 8 months wasting my money, time and effort but there has been no response till date. The company has also refused to accept some letters of mine however the correspondence has been sent from CSD authorities to them. It has been very frustrating and bitter experience for me as the company has paid no regards to my leters and correspondence from CSD as well.
    Required Relief 1. I want the original Gift offer from the company and compensation for my traumatic experience since last 8 months along with an apology from the company. The company has to assure that such matter will not be repeated with any other defence serviceman in future.

    Default Complaint regd. my washing m/c ticket no. 3553989

    Sir,

    This complaint is regarding my washing machine, model name is Senator Plus. i have registered the complaint on the 19th september at the helpline number and had received a ticket number wihch is 3553989. I also spoke directly to the franchisee. Initially the franchisee kept sending inefficient technicians who could not detect the fault and also were always in a hurry to leave so that they can attend more calls. After a number of days with my
    suffering with the machine which was making loud noises while washing, and also after calling up a number of times at the franchisee (located at D.N.Nagar, near Apna Bazaar, Andheri-W) a technician came in and could detect the fault which was with the timer of the machine. He did not carry the timer and enquired with the franchisee and gave us the assurance that our machine will be in working condition the very next day. Next day he did not turn up at all and after a number of calls to Mr. Bari, Mr. Jeetu, Mr Suresh and to many more people i only got the assurance that the our machine will be in working condition by the end of the day. Then day before yesterday the technician comes to our place and says that the timer which he has carried does not fit in the machine(which only signifies how inefficient the technicians are who don't even check properly which parts are to be replaced). Now again its been 2 days since he has dissappeared and there is no response from the franchisee. I tried calling up Mrs. Kumkum and having a word with her regarding the problem but only got the response that she is busy at the moment and will get back in 5 minutes (3 days have passed by).

    Now finally i am registering this complaint with the hopes that my machine will be in working condition tomorrow in the first half of the day.

    Default IFB wahing complaint

    Sir,

    I had purchased IFB front load Elena w/M on mid of 2008 from Vasanth & co, Pattukkottai branch, Tamilnadu (Ph.04373 224107) and machine still in warranty period. On 17.11.09 our machine was strucked suddenly and the washing process was stopped. Immediately I lodged complaint to Vasanth & co. Then I spoke with Senthil, Area inchagre, IFB (mobile:9382988245) and explaint him clearly about my problems. (My call no: 3759320, parmanent ID no: 2104681). Whenever I called him he said that he will send the technicians next day.Many times his mobile was switched off. I also spoke to Manager Karthick (mobile: 9940112577) and Demonstrator Selvaraj of Vasanth & co. But no proper reply from them. Nearly 50days has gone but our complaint not attended. I would like to say that IFB service in Thanjavur District is very very poor and its required more training to the responsible person on how to communicate with customer?, and how responsible heis? I am very much disappointed with IFB service. I need compensation for my calls that I have made to them and the salary that I had given to my maid for washing.I hope that i problem will be solved in a couple of days. Thank u.

    Hello,

    Send a written notice via registered post to the CMD of IFB about your problem, mention all the complaints no., attach photo copy bill and other relevant document (if any) and ask them for the proper solution or replacement so that you will not face such type of problem again.

    Note: Do not forget to keep the slip of registered post in safe, it will help you if the parent company will not solve the issue within the mention time of 15 to 20 days.

    My complaint no. 4080647 dated 29-1-2010 for IFB machine not being attended, I have reminded them everyday, they says it will be attended today but nobody comes. What action can we take?

    Thumbs down IFB Washing Machine - Pathetic Product and Service

    We recently purchased IFB Washing Machine - Digital 5 KG model.
    Our experience with IFB is pathetic, IFB Washing Machine, Customer care and service is the worst.

    Recently water started leaking from the tub of the washing machine.
    Upon registering the complaint the servicing person visited and said that it is a major repair
    and the cost of fixing will be Rs 650/-.

    The servicing person applied M-Seal Costing Rs 10/- as part of the fix and
    told us to use the washing machine the next day.

    We faced the same problem next day, water starting leaking from the tub.
    After registering the complaint the service person visited again (this time another person).
    He also investigated and said it is a Major repair and again applied M-Seal.

    Even now we are facing the leakage problem. They are now telling us to replace the tub itself.

    The cost of every service is Rs 650 per visit and any service is a major service for these guys.

    We also observed that the material fitted inside the washing machine are of very low quality.

    Looks like IFB fits second hand/sub standard materials inside the brand new machines.

    Since we do not look at the internal fixtures at the time of buying, we realise the fraud later on.

    We are facing one or the other problems with the IFB washing machine from the day we purchaed it.

    Buyers Beware of fradulent practices at IFB and Regulators please keep watch on quality of IFB products.

    Default Poor Customer handling and services

    I had purchase a washing machine Model no above given on 12/04/2010 from Sales India Bill No-2493 Chandkheda, Ahmedbad. Sales India executive had given me demo date that IFB engineer will come on 15/05/10 but we had not install the Connection for water supply. So we requested them on phone to come on Saturday on 17/04/10. but the engineer person had not came for the demo. I had registered the demo request on 17/04/10 on your BSNL Customer care no and told the executive to send the engineer after 6.30 as myself and my wife both are working .and my mother will not understand the demo process. At that day I had contacted Mr Mahipal IFB officer about the details. He had given a Commitment that he will call me and send a engineer on 17/04/2010. I haven’t received any call from him.

    On Monday engineer came for demonstration at 3.30 at that time nobody was at home except my father and mother. They told him to come after 6.30. Engineer name was MahendraBhai. He takes a signature from them. And assured them he will come for demo with the stand. He had not came than.

    I called your IFB Authorized service center Yash Enterprise on 22/04/2010. The person name Mr Ajay had talk with me very rudely that the engineer will not come again. And whatever you have to do you can.

    I am not satisfied with your service the way this authorized service center handle a customer is pathetic. Its already 12 days passed and I had not started the machine.

    DEAR SIR,
    I have registered the complaint before three months but I dint get a proper responsible up to this date so pls kindly come and rectify this complaint as soon as possible my complaint number ---4308078 and i have informed about this problem to area manager -- Mr.Rajesh and Tamilnadu manager --Mr.Ravishankaran also but they too dint give proper responsible to this problem

    Default Complaint regarding IFB AMC

    We had taken an AMC dated 22-06-2010 in the name of Mr Narpat Singhi for our Washing Machine(AMC No 1106 & ICR No 2538). After which we had some technical problem due to which the machine stopped functioning and after raising the complaint on 21st July 2010 the technican came on 23rd July and took away the machine motor stating that the same is burnt and needs to be replaced. Although the motor was taken on that day the replacement has still not been done till today i.e., 9th Sep 2010.

    This is not a kind of service which is expected from an MNC like IFB, also the kind of employees who sit at the call-center who are not ready to take calls and if in case the call is taken then either the phone is kept on hold stating "they will check in the records, and get back" whereas the latter never happens and one is holding the line like an idiot without getting any response from the other end. And if in case by any chance somebody reverts back, the msg is "the technician would be coming today or maximum by tomorrow with the new motor" this also has never happened till now. On speaking to the service head named Mr Rajeev on 6th Sep 2010 on his mobile number 9346203803 we got the same response that the motor would be replaced within 2 days which is also not doen till today and when I tried calling him today since morning this person doesn't even bother to take his call neither call bk if he was busy with something else.
    This is the service "IFB" an MNC which has employed this kind of service head.

    i have purchased IFB washing machine at Hyderabad and we transported to my native place khammam on 9th sept 2010 till to date no one came to give demo if washing machine and show room people gave us a customer care no. no one answering to us. this an worst service by the IFB.

    I purchased ifb washing machine model no aw 60-9021 and my compliant no 511809/17.09.10 till date there is no responsible persons visit. There is no action. Taken amc for three years. They gave false promise. Please advise.

    I recommonded only buy simens washing machine or other - IFB is not intrested in service

    all complains are attened only after 5 to 6 days

    Angry After sales service is very expensive and bad.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    This is to inform you that I am using a IFB Senorita Plus and in the last 2(two) years I have spent more than Rs.12000(Rupees Twelve Thousand) but still the problem is not solved and its bearing is making sound.

    In the month of January 2009 the total expenditure on repairing was Rs. 8216.00
    In the month of May 2010 the total expenditure was Rs. 4353.00

    Total till today is Rs. 12569.00

    I am not at all satisfied with the service center people as they are simply making us fool and charging number of time for the same problem in last two years. They are really bringing bad name to the brand.
    Please look into the matter at the earliest and suggest us what to do?

    Default Complaint was not considered and poor service

    Hi,

    We have purchased Model: AW609021(Top Loading) in Thanjavur - Punniamoorthi pillai shop in 2007. After 1 and half years of usage, there was a problem with the drum. We kept asking for service and support to solve that. Punniamoorthi store said, they don't have any relationship in IFB service and we have to log the complaint directly. Then we asked for help when the IFB customer care was near New Bus Stand. No body has turned up. Again we gave complaint for the service where as it is now near Old Housing Unit, Thanjavur - Tamilnadu. Even we visited in person so far 4 times. They keep saying we have asked for the drum. Once the drum is ready, we will come and fit. This story has not been resolved from 2009. Not sure when it will be resolved. Or else, we have to throw the IFB washing machine which is not in use and go for some other company. I have never seen such a poor service so far in my life in any form of the service.

    Default Complaint not addressed despite repeated complaints, technicians not able to rectify

    I have an IFB washing machine 6kg under AMC . It is having sum problem with one of the washing program's spinning .
    After the complaint , the technician visited but he was not able to rectify it, He changed timer part as a result the pumping out option now starts from the point where it should be ending.....Later after repeated complaintS and a lot of phone calls to various people who were VERY UN-CORDIAL TO ME another technician visited but he too hasn't rectified the problem..... my customer ID is 1922313... Its been over a week now and i am still waiting for a solution... please help me
