    Default complaint service washing machine IFB

    i had purchased a senator washing machine in dec 2007 and am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided for the following reasons
    the machine should have four years of warranty as per the policy on net but the service centre says that it is applicable for two years on previous products. Rs 3019/-( rs three thousand and nineteen only ) was paid on account of repair charges for Senator 6 Kg machine ( job no 6013216). Break up is given below

    (a) Parts – 1959/-
    (b) Service Charges – 660/-
    (c) Transport charges – 400/-

    the time taken for repair was over 12 days leading to much inconvenience

    Default Semi-skilled technician & spares price

    Keeping in mind that I am choosing best available washing machine in India I purchased basic Elena model washing machine(5kg) of IFB brand. After using the machine satisfactorily for considerable time it developed a problem that washing machine is getting tripped while reaching at spinning position. I lodged a complaint on 6/04/2011 to IFB customer care centre. Next day technician visited for attending the complaint. He instead of rectifying the problem, created one more problem of door locking. Since then door is locked. He insisted in breaking the door and told that the charges will be born by me. I do not understand how I am supposed to pay for the fault for which I am not responsible. Kindly look in this matter & try to avoid such a situation to keep your good image in the market. I would like to bring following points/suggestions which may kindly be noted by the IFB management rather higher level marketing Executives/Managers.

    1. I appreciate the performance of the machine that it is a good washing machine to buy & use.
    2. IFB should have highly skilled manpower in their authorized service centers.
    3. I understand that after prolong use of machine, wear & tear is a normal phenomena but after sale service is also be equally good.

    I contacted following persons for the remedy as advised by IFB customer care center:
    1. Mr. Neeraj, Service Manager-9820486111
    2. Mr. Shashank, Service Executive- 9323042442
    3. Mr Shetty, IFB Authorized service center,Panvel-9619477893

    Finally, Mr Shetty along with his team visited and attended the complain on 9/04/2011. Machine is working fine now. He charged me Rs 5775/- ( Rs. 5100/- for spares & Rs. 675/- as service charge).
    In the above context, I would like to suggest that authorized service centers should maintain a price list of spares otherwise we do not know the spare price charged to me which looks to me as very high & there is no means to check/confirm the spare price.

    Default IFB Washine machine - Not working

    I bought an IFB washine machine 10 months back. It is having problem every 15 days. I asked for a replacement and the IFB management turned that down and said they will only fix when ever problem occurs. This is a big pain and the technicians will not come in time. I am forced to buy another one, since IFB is not replacing the failed product.

    Hi,

    I, Mitul Rambhia, had purchased IFB washing machine (model - Admiral 7012W) on 24th July, 2011 - custom ID 2917850. I was so excited to buy best in class product, even though it was out of my budget. But that excitement was not for long. When the technician came to get the machine started, he was not able to do so. He had to make 2 more visits along with senior technicians to ensure that the machine gets started. It totally took more than a week to get it started. The inside rods were completely bent. I had informed the technician that there is a production defect in this machine, but he refused to it. When I asked him about the trolley for the machine, he informed that it is not in stock and will take around a month's time, hence I had to buy it from outside vendor whose number was provided by the delivery boys.

    After that it was working fine for a month or so, and then another problem started. The option of 'Quick 17' was not working as expected. Again the same technician came, and he informed us that the powder that I am using is not good, and hence the problem. Whereas, I was using Ariel Oxyblue which is considered as one of the best in class. Not sure whether that can have an impact on the machine functioning.

    My bad luck with the machine continued, and it again broke down after another month or so. When I just started it on the day of Diwali (26th Oct - Wednesday), there was some wire burning smell out of it and in couple of minutes, fumes came out of the machine. I was embarraced in front of my parents that such an expensive machine is not working fine even for a month. I raised a request for the technician to come and get this fixed. When the technician came, he checked it and informed me that the water pipe is broken and it needs to be replaced. I was surprised to hear that in 3 months, it has been broken. The explanation given by the technician that Admiral is not supposed to vibrate. Since your trolley is not good, it is vibrating and hence the problem. Actually, when I used it without trolley also, it was still vibrating. This proves that there is a production defect in the machine, else it would not have given me so many problems. My Diwali was completely spoiled. Thanks to IFB ! Since the pipe was broken, the technician told me that he will come with a new pipe on Friday 28th Oct and will replace it.

    I was frustrated with all this and hence raised a request for replacement of the machine. The customer care executive told me that someone will call me on Friday 28th Oct, but I did not get any call from anyone. On top of that, the technician called me up on Friday and told me that they don't have the pipe in stoke (again !) and hence he won't be able to get it fixed today. Earliest he can come is next Wednesday 2nd Nov. This was absolutely pathetic ! When I asked him that I want to talk to his manager, he gave me mobile number of Anil Diwakaran. I called him up and told him the issue. He told me that he'll talk to the technician and will call me back in 10-15 minutes. Since he did not call back after 45 mintues, I called him up again. And Anil started lieing that he promised me to call after 30 minutes, and not 10 minutes. Also, when I told him that there was an issue while getting the machine started, and the technicians had to make 3 visits, he again told me that I am a liar and it was fixed in 2 visits only. When I told him to pull out the visit records, he told me that he is not here to do all that and is not interested in all those things. I found him very rude and absolutely hopeless guy. Not sure how come IFB employed him at the position that he is holding. He don't know how to talk to customers and counter argues that the customer is a liar. That was the time I realized that IFB is one of the worst company to deal with.

    Since I was not interested in talking to him, I asked him to give his manager's number. He game me mobile number of Saumen who is the area manager. Since he waS on leave, I asked him to give me some other person's contact number whom I can talk to. He promised me to give me a call in 30 mintes. But he also did not call me back. When I tried to call him back after an hour, his mobile was switeched off. After another hour when I tried him, his mobile was ringing but he did not pick up my call.

    I had also tried to talk to various other people on Friday 28th Oct, but none of them were available. The long list includes Meenakshi and manisha (28839823 / 28835997), Chaya (25174582), Ziana (39004321), Branch office (32942360 / 62) and also customer care service.

    One of the worst Diwali that I ever had was this one and it was all because of Diwali. Hence, I have now decided that I don't want this machine. Would like to request you please get this replaced. If you are not able to do that, then please give me refund of my money and take back your product. I can buy some good brand product who cares for customers. Still, if you are not able to do anything, then I would not be left with any choice but to send the machine back to IFB and also raise it to appropriate authority.

    Default Ifb-lazy & poor customer service

    I bought ifb washing machine (serena sx) on 13 nov. Still no one call/come for demonstration. Now i keep my washing machine in my pooja room for daily pooja.

    Default Poor after sales service of IFB Washing Machine

    I had lodged a complaint on 22/11/2011 at 0930 hours and was given a complaint number, vide No. 7678236 dated 22/11/2011 . i was informed that the service technician would contact within 24 hours. As stated, the technician called and wanted to know the nature of the complaint. a detail was submitted to him and he promised to get back to me. But even after 48 hours, there has not been any response. After 48 hours I contacted 18604255698 and was told to contact the manager ( Mallika) on following number 04222574321. I obliged and did so, I was informed that a technician would be sent. canceling all my programmes I waited , but to no avail. I have contacted this number four times and each time a promise is made which is not kept. This is not the first time that I am experiencing such lack of dedication. I had earlier articulated my grievance on the web on the poor after sale services of IFB.
    Through the web I wish to spread this message, Beware of the after sale services of IFB. For any product, the after sale services says a lot of the product.

    THe digital washing machine has many problems and no one will attend to your service requests at IFB..PLease do not go for the brand name IFB. We were fooled by the name but it is not worth the money, my parents have used Siemens for years & I wish my husband & I had done the same.

    Hi,

    I bought IFB SENATOR 6KG washing machine on 28.01.2008 at Danam Sale Centre,225 Ambalathadaiyar Madam street,Pondicherry.I paid AMC to IFB Industries Limited,Saram,Pondicherry-13 for the period from 29-01-2010 to 28-01-2012.I have been facing "WATER LEAKAGE" issue with our washing machine since 8 months.I called no.of times to repair the same.They came and replaced some parts but still we are facing the same issue.Recently Mr.Panner from IFB came on 30.11.2011 and replaced Tube Hos of worth Rs.250 which i paid.Again the same day we faced the same issue.I called Mr.Panner on 7667793902(His Mobile number).He said he will come back on the very next day but he didn't come.I called him today 02-12-2011,Friday morning and i told him that i was waiting for him on 01-12-2011.He told me that he was busy with some other work and he said to me,"IF YOU WANT TO GIVE A COMPLAINT YOU CAN GIVE".The details of my last call are, COMPLAINT NO.7728760 & ID NO.1346551

    Note: I was told that IFB is an International brand with best quality.But the way the service i am getting from you is pathetic & horrible.If the same continues how can i tell my friends about IFB.We are not at all happy with the same.

    I am expecting some immediate,corrective & Hygenic service & action from you.And i am waiting for the same.

    My Name is Saurav Gupta, H. No. 300, Ajit Nagar, Patiala. Pb. India. Pincode 147001. My Registered Mobile No. is 9855753539 to IFB. I have purchased a washing machine model No. Serena SX 5.5 Kg from Amar Traders, Tripuri, Patiala. Pb. The Leakage Problem is started from the first day of purchasing. I have Complaint so many times to customer care of IFB. I have reminded them everyday, they says it will be attended today but nobody comes. Now What Can I Do?

    Default IFB Serivces Are pathetic and doesnt Look After

    Hi,

    Its been over 2 weeks I have registered my complain about the problem with washing machine IFB AW7233….since then I have register multiple complaints but problem has not been fixed. The first tech came after first complain and he opened the whole machine and later said he cannot fix it as he couldn’t figure out where is the problem and assured me that a senior tech will come to fix. After he left no body arrived for next 2 days so I lodged one more complain. Finally a senior tech came and made the machine working with empty drum and I thought problem resolved and he sold me descalar powder of Rs 1050. Next day when I tried wash clothed machine stopped again. I called IFB again and it took another 2 days for tech to come to me. He opened the machine again and later said he needs to change some spare part like clutch wheel drum etc. I waited another few days but nobody came to fix. Since then I have been calling IFB wasting money but nobody is responding to it.

    IFB people are rude to talk and lazy to work or inefficient to fulfilled the task. I spoke to many people in IFB like Mohit on the mobile number: 9311683942 (is one the rude guy.) mohit said “aapne mujhe pehle kyo nahi bataya, aap aaj mujhe bata rahe ho..to ab fix ho jayega..”

    DAMNNN‼ DO I HAVE TO TOUCH THE FEET OF IFB PEOPLE TO FIX THE MACHINE…???? How would I know whom to contact in case of problem with machine, I made several calls to customer care…was that not enough ??????

    I want replacement if the machine as I can’t wait whole life for IFB engineer to come fix the issue. I spoke to IFB dealer, customer care, i register the many complaints ai IFB wesite....but see the tragedy...Nobody is lstening or replying... Machine is under warranty but IFB people treating me as beggar.

    NOW I DON’T WANT THE MACHINE TO REPAIR AS IFB FAILED TO DO THIS.The MACHINE IS USELESS AND I WANT REPLACEMENT OR UPGRADE TO FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE.





    Machine is still under warranty.
