I have purchased a for IFB washing machine on 16th April 2011. The Shop owner said that the service engineers from IFB will come and install the for us. I have waited for
one week and no one came to install the machine. So I decided to install the
machine myself, I got the installation procedure from the user manual and I
installed the machine as specified in the manual. I placed the machine in a on
a concrete shelf attached to the wall so that my Mother can put clothes without bending down.
Unfortunately the machine fell down form the top and broke the top of machine ,
the front panel and the front body part. My mother narrowly escaped from the accident as she was standing next to the machine.

I contacted the Shop owner they said that it will cover under the warranty period and they give me the mobile number of the service manager.

I talked to the service manager, he said that he can only replace the top and the panel area in warranty period. He said the body part which is damaged will not come under warranty period and If I need to get a new body panel I have to pay for that. Please let me know if the body of the machine is not included under warranty period?
