Whirlpool Washing Machine
Whirlpool Washing Machine - Sensation Elite is not working for one month. Complaint was registered on 30th May 2009 (Complaint No. 12431 - Phone Number 27893345). One Mr. Sudhakar- technician (mobile # 09248067608) had visited the same day, examined the machine and again came on 1st June 2009, with the required parts to rectify the problem. Problem was specifically with the PCB and the Door Lock. He repaired the PCB part and said the Door lock requires the 5 pin which is not available with him, what he has is the three pin one, so he shall come the next day and fit it as 1st June was a Sunday and the Store will not be open. We don't hear anything from him for 2 days, and thus we contact hi again on Wednesday (3rd June 2009).On contacting him, he says.. he will get it and was pretty rude on the phone. He also gave me another number to contact someone else. I called that number and that person gave me another number to call up, I called the third number and I get to hear that the person Mr. Bharath (to whom the phone belonged to- mobile number 09248067603) is on leave, and thus he gave me a fourth number. The fourth number belonged to Mr. Srinivas (mobile 09248067608) . I spoke to him the same day, and he assured that he will ensure he gets that 5 pin lock and have this done at most by 6th June 2009 (Saturday).Without getting any response from them on 6th June 2009, we make another call to Mr. Srinivas and Mr. Bharath on 8th June 2009 (Monday). Mr. Bharath tells us yes I will ensure it gets done tomorrow which was 9th June 2009 (Tuesday). Nothing happens for two more days, then another call was made to Mr. Srinivas and Mr. Bharath on 11th June (Thursday), wherein he promises that it will be done by Friday (12th June 2009). After much follow ups, I get a call from someone on 20th June, that they have got the 5 pin switch and they shall come and get the stuff done. They do the honor of coming on 24th though and not before that and they declare that something else seems to be the problem and they have to take it to the workshop, which will happen only on 25th. Today is 25th and no one comes to have the machine picked up. In making further calls, I have been asked to get in touch with the boss.. who doesn't pick up the phone.This is absolutely unacceptable, we have like a fool gone ahead a bought an expensive product from Whirlpool to get this services. Can we go the consumer court for this kind of harassment and claim a new machine as the existing one is within the warranty period?
