We had ordered IFB EVA DX front loading washing machine through internet. The machine was delivered on 21st January 2011. We were asked to register with customer care requesting for a demo. For next two weeks, we had to make around 2 calls a day to request for demo, which the customer care kept ignoring. In the end, a person finally came to give demo in the first week of february.

The demo person came and showed in a quick manual mode how each operation is to be done and he left. When we tried to put an automatic run, we found that the machine gets stuck at a point and doenst complete the washing cycle even after 2 hours or so. We requested the same demo person to address the issue. There was no response for 2 days and then after much frustration, a person came to check and acknowledge the malfunctioning of the equipment. Then, the person said, he would raise a complaint and the machine would be replaced maximum within 7 working days.

Till today, the machine has not been replaced. We are constantly calling the customer care and the IFB supervisor, who keep saying that the machine will be delievered in next 2-3 days.

On top of all this, I had put a complaint on the IFB website. But there was not even a response to that complaint!

I am fed up of this. I want serious action to be taken against the neglegant and irresponsible service providers.
