    Angry IFB---The worst service any company can ever give

    I am Vidyacharan. I live in Chennai. My grandparents own an IFB washing Machine. It was bought in 2007. It has crossed the warranty period. However, it is under Annual Maintenence Contract-AMC. We have to pay Rs 1520 every year and the company promised to attend to an problems as soon as possible.
    We have a problem with the internal board. It is a fully automatic machine and it is not working completely. We called their consumer care/service center. We filed our complaint on 12/ 11/ 2009. It has been more than 2 months since. We have been calling them at least twice a day. They promise to send their personnel within 24 hrs. We cancel our engagements and wait for them but no one turns up. We have contacted almost everyone in their company from the highest to lowest level. All they do is to point their finger at someone else and we have only been going round in circles. When we call the customer care center, the people take it as a joke and chat among themselves, laugh, giggle etc. rather than talk something sensible.
    My grandparents have been suffering without a washing machine for the past two months. They are already senior citizens and have their own health problems. They find it hard as they live alone. It is only now that i have got to know of this and I am ready to take this matter to the court.
    I actually want to sue their company. When we tell them our problem, the answer back rudely. We have been running our phone bills. We would have contacted at least a 20 different people in their organization.
    I DEMAND A PROPER COMPENSATION FOR THIS. IFB WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS. I am serious about it. They can't keep going on this way.
    To be frank, When i called the customer care center, I told them my problem. The lady who answered me asked me to wait for a minute. Then, another person from nearby told her to JUST TELL ME THE WILL RECTIFY THE PROBLEM WITHIN 3 DAYS. It was really disappointing that IFB appoints such people as their staff. Highly irresponsible behavior.
    It has been 5 days since they promised to send me technicians to see our problem. I have been contacting them ever since but they don't give a proper response.
    So, as it has been over two months since we have been having this headache, I Demand a sum of Rs. 30,000 as compensation for the inconvenience caused to my grandparents. My grandparents are over 65. My grandpa is a heart patient and diabetic. They cannot be washing their clothes on their own. I also want the company officials to come and wash my grandfather's shirt and know how hard it feels.

    Angry Same pathetic experience to me

    I booked a service request on Feb 4, 2010 to fix my washing machine. The service rep came on Feb 8, 2010 and said water discharge pump is to be replaced and he promised it would be done in 2 days. It is almost 10 days but nobody came and fixed the problem. I called the service personnel directly and the customer care several times after that but no help. Every time I call customer care they will give a contact number to call somebody but the phone number not worked or the respective person not picked the call. I really got annoyed with these kinds of treatments. Even I requested the customer service desk to assign my ticket to different service center since the current service center is unresponsive but they refused to do so.

    Worst company to buy any products. You are finished if you expect any services from this company. pathetic customer care. never hears customer complaints. The company never understands what is the meaning of customer care. I commit sin if I recommend anybody to buy products from this pathetic company.
