I had lodged a complaint at Whirlpool Customer Care in Ludhiana. The work here has been outsourced to Supertech Engineers. Their staff is very rude and arrogant. Their owner even uses abusive language. The services are highly inefficient. It took a month's time and a whopping sum of Rs 5000 to get my washing machine repaired. It is still not functioning properly.

It all started on the 12th June'10 when I called the customer care for doing a general service of my washing machine which I possess for the last 2 years and the technician came and did the service and sold us some powder for washing the machine which I was very upset on is that if my machine is in warranty so why should i pay for a service these things should come free with the service which is due. I still ended up paying Rs. 800 for the same and the technician went after doing the service and he left the machine running everything seemed to be fine however later I found that "Rinse" option in the washing machine is not working and I felt I have been cheated the way the service has been done and immediately I called the technician he said you just clean the drain pipe and it would be fine which I did and still the "Rinse" option did not work.

Again I logged a case with you on 14th for this and the technician visited me after 3 days of logging a complaint and finally did something and showed us the "Rinse" option specifically and it was working fine and as soon as he left I tried washing clothes in the machine and now it was a problem with "Washing" the water level automatically changed to high and it would take unnecessary water from the outlet and started overflowing from the machine and again a problem came.

This is the sour experience I have had with the technician you have and the entire week has gone solving a simplest of issue which was actually meant for servicing the washing machine. I was really upset with this and on the same day I tried calling the technician and his phone ranged twice and he did not pick up and after 5 minutes when I checked he switched off his phone and I was so angry that I called up your customer care and spoke to one "RANA" who spoke to me and I requested him not to close this issue as this issue persists and he promised that it would not be done and said I will take and all that customer care stuff that they usually speak.

I happen to be a Sr. Manager with Customer Service for one of the products so understand how fake he was. I was disappointed with the technician already and now it was your customer service rep "RANA" who is of no use at all.

I believe my trust in the whirlpool product has already gone with the kind of experience I have had in the last few days and I would end up not buying a product from you anymore.

I really need a solution for this at the earliest and I would wait for "1 Day" for some to call me and get this right else I will have to file a higher complaint than this.

my washing machine had problem it was not draining after washing so i complaint to whirlpool my complaint no is MB0310004645 their man came took Rs285 saying one part is to be repaired than he returened after two days whith repaired part but still it was not working than he rang to his boss who said it will cost Rs3000 to repair PCB i checked in customer care where they said it costs Rs2000 and my complaint was again registered no is MB0310013458 than again company people came took my machines old PCB after two days they are saying now it costs Rs4885 to the pair the part.Initially my machine had problem in draining only but due to their negligence it is not at all working .I feel ther people are not well trained and they have further damaged it . It was attended by SKY ENTERPRISES Miraroad.Now they are not even responding to our phone call .

पहले मैं आपको अपनी स्थिति से परिचित करा दूं ताकि आप यह जान सकें कि वाशिंग मशीन का ख़राब होना कितनी दुखद स्थिति पैदा करता है. मैं (रुपेश कुमार,उम्र 36 वर्ष) शारीरिक रूप से विकलांग हूँ. मैं अपने पैरों से बिलकुल लाचार हूँ. मैं अपनी माताजी (सत्य देवी, उम्र 70 वर्ष), जिनके नाम से मशीन खरीदी गयी है, के साथ रहता हूँ.

अपनी और अपनी माताजी की शारीरिक स्थिति को देखते हुए वर्ष 2008 में whirlpool की Front load वाशिंग मशीन (Fully Automatic) लेने का निर्णय लिया. हमने मशीन की AMC भी करायी है, जिसकी अवधि 2010 से 2012 तक की है.

समस्या शुरू हुई 22.10.2011 को जब वाशिंग मशीन चलने की तुरंत बाद उसका on-off का स्विच जल गया तब मैंने whirlpool के customercare पर फ़ोन करके अपनी complaint की( complaint no.- DL 1011019719), उसी दिन इंजिनियर ने आकर कहा कि दिवाली (27.10.2011) बाद स्विच बदल दिया जायेगा.

28.10.2011 से लगातार फ़ोन करने पर 5.11.2011 को इंजिनियर फिर आया लेकिन गलत स्विच लेकर जो हमारी मशीन में नहीं लगता. उसने फिर हमें 9.11.2011 का समय दिया कि दूसरा पार्ट लगा दिया जायेगा.

अब मैं 10.11.2011 से लगातार फ़ोन कर रहा हूँ customercare पर. मुझे हर बार "कल हो जायेगा" कह कर टाल दिया जाता है.

और आज 19.11.2011 को फ़ोन करने पर मुझे 23.11.2011 का समय दिया गया है. तब तक तो मशीन को ख़राब हुए 1 महीना हो जायेगा.

मेरी और मेरी माताजी की शारीरिक स्थिति की वजह से हमें न सिर्फ शारीरिक बल्कि मानसिक कष्ट भी होता है. क्यूंकि मुझे बार बार अपनी शारीरिक अक्षमता का अहसास होता है.

जिस विशवास के साथ हमने whirlpool को चुनो था वह विशवास तो टूट ही गया, साथ ही जो कष्ट झेलना पड़ रहा है वो अलग.

कृपया मेरा मार्ग दर्शन करें कि मैं इस खुखद स्तिथि एवं समस्या से कैसे पार पा सकता हूँ.

Never ever plan to buy whirlpool Product.

I took Washing machine in dec 08 ( Prakash bapna - 022-25925747). System was not got at first time also.

I called service center he came and asked to put this and that.

Again it got problem , this time he told change powder. I was shocked how come powder is porblem for not washing clothes.

next them again he told put stand.

After long interval of 6 to 7 month i got feed up and called him again.

He told it is not in warranty.

Hats off to whirlpool service.

Plzz Friends never buy Cheap Whirlpool Product.

I bought a Whirpool Semi-Automatic Washing Machine - "Sparkle" from Spencers Hyper, Musheerabad. Within 1 1/2 yr of purchase. The machine started emitting sparks. I misplaced the purchase document, so was not sure if it would be covered under warranty. So, I called customer care, a lady employee asked me to provide model number. When I obliged, she said model number is not on their company records - that was unexpected, how come a company does not have record of models it makes?. After insisting she agree to send a technician. The technician plugged in the empty machine and it was working fine. The problem arose when we put some load in it. He said the gear box should be changed and the machine should be cleansed off the dirt. He offerred some powder costing Rs. 1500/- to be used in washing machine.

Later he asked Rs. 350/- as service charge. Service charge for doing nothing? I had to reluctantly give him Rs. 50/-. The techinician never visited inspite of several calls. The machine is still rotting at my home. Not sure if it could be accepted to be exchanged for a new one.

This was not expected of such a Branded Company. I promised myself that I will never in my life purchase a Whirlpool product and advice the same to others.
