Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a whirlpool washing maching carrying the brand name white magic. Its been
more than a month since the machine stopped working. I called up Whirlpool call
centre on 040-60008558 on the same day and lodged a complaint bearing complaint
number 7654. After following up with local authorised dealer in visakhapatnam, a
service engineer from Visakhpatnam Whirlpool authorised service centre visited my
house and after seeing the machine and myself having explained the complaint to him
, said the PCB has to be replaced . This would be third instance of PCB being
replaced. The service engineer said that they would need to procure the PCB from
Hyderabad and would take a weeks time . After repeated follow ups with the local
authorised dealer Sri Sai Harshini Enterprices Ph 08916692599 , they had been saying
today , tommorow and kept on postponing. After about a month, two service engineers
rather inexperienced , had replaced the PCB and in the process of
doing it broke the door of washing machine. The service engineers also said that
the problem lies with voltage and PCB was burnt. Finally they said a new PCB has to
acquired once again from Hyderabad. I have been following up for the same, but they
say today , tommorow and day after but the day till date hasnt arrived. They give
false promises of calling back, but no response so far.
Now with all this one can clearly understand what a customer means to whirlpool.
This is what the company teaches its service engineers to behave with their
customers. They dont respond well , dont follow up and dont keep their customers
informed. The washing machine has been lying useless for more than 6 weeks. We are
facing hell of a time washing clothes by hand and spending money on phone calls to
service centre. The company doesnt pay attention to repairing the defective product
and on top of that we have to depend on their mercy.
Hope the above complaint is taken seriously and is dealt with the same seriousness .
