    Whirlpool SPORT MODEL Washing Machine

    I bought a fully automatic front loading 7.0 kg Whirlpool SPORT MODEL Washing Machine in july2009, The Washing machine is under 2 years warranty. On 13th February, the machine stopped working. I called up whirlpool call center on 0484-60008558 on the same day and lodged a complaint with complaint sr.number CO0211006105.
    One Service Engineer Named Mr.JAYAPRAKASH form COCHIN whirlpool authorized service center visited my house the same day and after seeing the machine and myself explaining the complaint to him, he put a new fuse & the machine started working, he took the satisfaction code (615) from me .After 10minits the machine stopped.Once again I ring to him, he come back and told, the machine having motor problem & needs workshop repair.So as per him I lodge one more complain on 14/02/2011 complaint sr.number CO0211006430. & contact whirlpool service station office person Mr SHYAM (Mob-+919249559528) He said my auto driver will contact you & bring your machine to workshop since then i had been calling the whirlpool service station office person Mr SHYAM (Mob-+919249559528) have been saying today, tomorrw and kept on postponing. Today on the 21st day since the complaint.Yesterday (06/02/2011), once again I complained to whirlpool customer care with complaint sr.number CO0311002709. Nobody contacts me.Myself contact to the same person Mr SHYAM (Mob-+919249559528) & I got the same answer i.e my auto driver will contact you & bring your machine to workshop Now with all this, one can clearly understand what “A Customer means to Whirlpool". This is what whirlpool teaches its service centers and it's engineers to behave with their customers. They don't respond well, they don't follow up; they don't keep their customers well informed. With almost Rs.25, 500 spending on the washing machine, it is lying completely useless for the past 3 weeks. We at home are facing hell of a time, washing all clothes by hand for the last 3 weeks. When it is under warranty, the company pays no attention to repairing the defective product and on top of that we, the customers have to live at their mercy. What is this?

    Hoping the above complaint is taken seriously and is dealt with the same seriousness. Please protect the Indian customers from such defaulting companies,

    Dear sir,
    We have purchased PUM 701 washing machine from E-Zone Rajajinagar bangalore in January 2011. The service person came on 23/01/2011 and explained us about machine. On 24/01/2011 when we switched ON, the machine didnot work. The service person visited us and told us that the electro mechanical switch and water outlet are not working and it cannot be repaired. After that we contacted Mr.Pradeep from whirl pool company and he assured us the machine will be replaced with in a week. Even after 15 days also no phone, no person from company. We have called them repeatedly every day but no response. After 20 or 25 days they have told us that the machine is obsolete so no stock and money will be refunded. We agreed for that. But till today i.e., even after 2 and half months no money, no machine. Repeatedly we are calling them and their answer is next week. Now they stopped lifting the phone. Why should you people sell the machine which is obsolete and not having spare parts? Being working women i am suffering so much with out machine. Neither we can buy another nor wait for the money. Please do the needful.

    Hey Friends,

    I have also purchased the washing machine semi automatic in June 2010. It started giving me trouble from the very second day.

    We firstly reported to the Dealer, he asked me to get the machine to the shop so that their engineers can test primarily, else they will call to the customer care.

    It is nonsense repose that we carry a huge machine again and again to the service center.

    Then i discussed the issue with the my friend who also had the same problem.

    She suggested me to register the complaint to Consumer Grievance Redressal Cell , I am surprised to see that with in three days, my problem has been heard and i got the call from company.

    I think, the only way to reach them is through the different way.

    When things don't work your way, you have to make them work for you...

    Default Frontloading washing machine.

    This is to inform you that we purchased a front loading fully automatic washing machine model- Sensation Neo make- Whirlpool on Nov 2007 from M/s Vision, Badapadia Paradeep port, Distt- Jagatsinghpur, Orissa-754142, . A problem occurred in my machine since one month i.e.it's timer knob is not working it's becomes free. A telephonic complaint was lodge to Mr.Rehman service engineer of whirlpool but he informed that spare is not available in market please contact to Mr. B.P.Mohapatra incharge who is look after spare parts of washing machine, telephonic contact has been done and he informed soon problem will resolve but till date problem is not rectified and every time he is giving reply that spare is not available, although complain was lodged through customer service and same reply he given that service engineer will attend your problem but no positive action has been taken. we are facing lot of problem. If the spare can't be available then replace your machine by another make,as a negative response from your side will give poor impact on your customer. Take necessary action as early as possible.

    Default Non response for complaints

    I own a Whirlpool whitemagic H65 stainwash top load washing machine, purchased in January 2009. At the same time we had purchased 5 years AMC plan for this washing machine from Whirlpool. Lately machine was giving some problems and I logged a complaint with Whirlpool customer care for the same on 22nd April. There engineer came and suggested I'd need to send the machine to there workshop for fixes.
    I requested them to arrange for a pickup over the weekend as I am a working woman and am not at home on weekdays during day time. 23rd April and 24th April I spent whole day at home speaking to the engineer and worskdhop office. They kept promise to reach my house in next 2 hours but no one came.
    Then I got a call on Monday saying they have come to pick up the machine and I should let them take it. I informed that I am at work and they'll need to come to my house over the weekend, they took it casually and asked if I am sure that nobody is home.
    I got another call from them on Thursday to ask if they can pick up my machine. I asked them to do so on Saturday and if possible in morning time. They promised to do so between 10am-12noon. I've been waiting and speaking to them since morning where I am promised they'll pick up the machine in next 2 hours and nobody has come yet.
    And in my last call with customre care center, I was informed that in their records it has been mentioned that machine has already been picked. Call center people are not letting me speak to their seniors. They are not providing me information to their greivance cell.
    This is a very helpless kind situation. My complaint number is - GB0411011095.

    Default air conditionar of whirlpool

    I have a a c of whirlpool. it is not working wel i have lodged a complained and paid some money to the engineer,
    He told me that he will come and correct the ac ,more than one month is gone but the problem is same. Many times I call the help line no. 1860 180 4558,only the staff from there is giving me assurance. So make the arrengements for correcting the A C, other wise i will be bound to the asylum of honble Court.

    Dear Team,

    I'm Pachaiyappan and my mobile is 9841415790. I was using the Whirlpool Fusion 200 L 21 Royale Refrigerator since I bought it on 2007. Couple of months back, near the thermostat it got shortcircuited which made the complete set of Thermostat along with Frost Control and the Bulb was burnt out. While complaining it to Customer Care, the Case or Ticket or incident which was closed twice. But actually the field engineer visited my house claiming that they never across any such instance in 1st visit and they took photograph and they went. It was closed. Second time, the engineer brought some non-compatible set and told me that even if he fixes it, probability of short circuit can happen. In addition to it, he was not sure how to fix it and was asking for the completely burnt one to see which pin goes where for the connection. Later the service engineer told that he will bring the compatible set and he never returned. While contacting him back, he claimed that the Thermostat set is not available and therefore, it cannot be fixed.

    Couple of days back, I've lodged the complaint again to replace the complete Thermostat set. Yesterday one engineer came and told me that this was completely burnt out. He can put a thermostat where I cannot adjust the cooling level which does not make any sense to me. Also, he claims that Chennai does not have complete Thermostat set that comes for this model. Instead, he was asking me to check wherever I can.

    Please refer below the Customer Complaint details.

    When inquired with a different Whirlpool service centre in chennai, I was told that the Thermostat set (comprised of Frost control button and Light) for my model still exists and I can still have options to replace it. But it is quite contrary to the service engineers' statements who were visiting my house.

    Kindly provide me a solution how to go about it. Using the product without any issues for last 4 years and all of a sudden it got fired by the Thermostat but none from the Whirlpool service team is able to fix it. The Root cause and solution is also not clearly explained to anyone. Hence, looking out for some experts or some customer oriented associates of Whirlpool who can understand my issue and resolve it.

    Would appreciate your help and support in regards to solve my issue. Kindly let me know if you require any additional information to proceed with my request.


    Note:
    1. I'm ready to bear the Thermostat replacement cost.
    2. The Refrigerator is in Extended Warranty
    3. Customer Complaint details.
    i) 14-March-2011 - CN0311027623 - Service Engineer, Santhosh (Mobile 8939940468). Issue closed on Same Day, 14-March-2011 without resolution.
    ii) 04-April-2011 - CN0411006334 - Service Engineer, Veerasekaran (Mobile 8939940461). Issue closed on 21-April-2011 without resolution.
    iii) 22-May-2011 - CN0511050759 - Service Engineer, Basker (Mobile 8939967923). Engineer did not solve the problem but given the workaround of fixing the refrigerator with a different thermostat which cannot allow to adjust the cooling temperature. This does not solve the purpose of ideal Refrigerator function.

    Please expedite to help me solve the issue.

    I purchased a Whirlpool Washing Machine. The details are mentioned below:
    Make: Whirlpool WM - Super Wash XL A - 72H
    Serial Number: 110204091
    Dealer: Aggrellios & Co.
    Invoice No.: R - 26024
    Purchase Date: July 30, 2011


    Since the first week of purchasing this machine, we are facing problems.


    At the time of delivery, the back tray was broken. The dealer was very supportive and he replaced the same immediately.


    Then within the First Week there was a leakage problem. We called up the service center and they rectified the problem. We encountered the same problem after a few days again. Again we called up the service center, they came and rectified the issue.


    Then, after a week or two, there was a problem with the heater and the same water leakage problem. We again went ahead and called up the customer service. They came and rectified the issue.


    I have got the names of the people who came from your customer service, but would not like to share the same with you. But would definitely like to highlight, that the customer service engineers who came are very rude. This needs to be worked upon.


    Now again the same problems have started.


    In my home, we have been using Semi Automatic Washing Machines since past 18 Years. This is the First Time that we have to go through such a situation.


    It has been JUST 04 months and we are completely dissatisfied with the services and products of Whirlpool and we are planning to approach the Consumer Court.


    If, Whirlpool cares for its customers, then I expect someone to call me back ASAP. And that someone should be someone who holds authority.

    Dear Team

    This is Monty Gyanchandani from Kanpur registered mobile no . 9307910863 vide R/o 2-H-8 Ratan Lal Nagar Dauboli. I purchased a refrizirator from ur company triple door freeze. I have complained number of complain at ur customer care for Refrizirator.

    Productis completely dead. I am followup to the customer care from last four Month but still problem is not resolved.

    Kindly look into this matter and resolve asap.

    Dear Sir,

    This is Rajeev Goyal, member of whirlpool family from last 10 years having all home appliance of your co. But yesterday, we are going to purchase semi automatic washing machine ACE 8.0 A from your authorized dealer M/s. GHUMAN ELECTRIC AND FURNITUR Kalwar Road Jaipur. But there behaviour for your company staff is so rude and seems like we should feel shame to be in whirlpool family. So we wish to share our experience getting from that dealer.

    1) His sales man ( Mr. Tarun) use abusive words with us.

    2) We feel very shame for such environment.

    3) Complaint book was not given to us.

    4) There assurance “ no action will take from your side”

    5) They have no fear from any complaint

    But we lose our trust after yesterday experience. Even your all product are capable to satisfy the family members. We wish to retain with you after receive positive response from your side and wait for next 48 hrs. Or we move to other company.
