I have purchased one semi automatic machine of WHIRLPOOL thru M/s REA Kanpur, 111-A/409, Ashok Kumar, 80Feet Road, Kanpur vide their Invoice No. 1104 dtd.27/12/2011
And when its dryer was not working, I registered the complaint No.LK0612000128 and upon visit of your service engineer informed me that the cover of Dryer has developed
Crack and need to be replaced and since the same is out of warranty , I have to pay Rs.350.00 towards the same.
Its very strange that cover of dryer is essential part directly effecting the functioning the machine and how can such part can be excluded out of warranty, while it should be
Made up of good quality material and strong enough to have working life of minimum 2 year’s , which is the WARRANTY period of machine.
Further its very strange that company neither disclose any information in the sales catalog that which parts are covered under warranty nor list out the parts not covered Under warranty.
I would request you to please take necessary action to prevent such companies cheating the customer’s in name of “WARRANTY”
