    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have booked an e-ticket from an agent for the month of June and then cancelled it. I have not received any amount from him after the cancellation. He is not picking up the phone and the office is also closed. His details and the ticket details are mentioned. Once he picked up the phone and gave excuses that he doesnt have money and would give in installaments at his convenience. Please if you could help with this as soon as possible.

    Default Railway Agent Fraud

    I have given an agent my ticket to cancel and to book another ticket of different date. Since then I am trying to contact him, but he is not responding by keeping his mobile at silent. When I met him he told me that he will give me, but again he dissapeared. His details are mentioned. The license of such agents should be cancelled. Please if you could help with this as soon as possible.

    Default Booking staffs misguiding people and booking wrong tickets , also not following rules

    ear Sir/Madam,

    I have a complaint against one of the Railway Reservation counter of Railway at Ranchi (sainik Bazaar Booking Counter ).The behavior of staffs there is not proper. They all are always ready to book the tickets of the agents , without even paying attention towards the other public.

    I faced the problem while booking my tatkal ticket from TATA to PUNE in AZAD HIND EXPRESS for the date 22nd dec'09 .

    On 20th dec'09 , i went to the counter and and asked to book my tatkal ticket from tata to pune in azad hind express for date 22nd of dec'09 . But then he replied that their is no provision of booking tickets in tatkal seva from any mid station . And he booked my ticket from Howrah to Pune (dated- 22-12-09) .

    This is really bad as i needed my ticket for 22nd itself i.e . 21st night from tata . but because of the booking staffs now i willl have to travel a day later that is on 23rd.Also i payed extra 300 for the ticket , as the staff booked my ticket from howrah .

    I kindly request you to pay your kind attention towards it.

    Also, at the booking counter agents are allowed to pass 3-4 reservation forms at a time , which is against the railway rule. And the general public is still facing problems.

    Sir,

    I am Mr. Anup kumar chowdhury, 64 years old from Burdwan, West Bengal. I went to Vellore CMC hospital to check up my left leg (plastic surgery) on 12th December, 2009. I planned to travel from Vellore to Visakapattanam on 16th December by Yaswantpur express (Train No 2864). That’s why I bought the confirmed ticket for me and my wife at two months ago on the said date by Yaswantpur express. The train should had left the vellore station on 16th December at 11:45 pm according to my confirmed ticket. But Railway management changed the timetable between that period and I was not informed regarding the new timetable. So I was totally unaware about the new timetable. As per my ticket I reached the vellore station according to the train scheduled which was printed onto my ticket.

    Now I want to share my horrible and sad experience with the prestigious railway organization. As per my confirmed ticket I go into my reservation coach (S6) on the scheduled date and time. My PNR no was 452-4041212. The TTE started badly behave since we (me and my wife) go into the coach. The TTE told us that we have to give the fine amount of Rs. 1600/- ASAP. Then we showed up the TTE our confirmed ticket again and again. But the TTE did not listen to us a single word. Even the TTE rudely told us that you have to give me the fine amount otherwise I will push both of you from the running train. We told the TTE that I do not want to give you the fine amount as I have my confirmed ticket and also Railway did not inform me about the new timetable which is12: 30 AM instead of 11:45 PM.

    As I earlier said you that I was returning from the Vellore CMC hospital after checking up my left leg (plastic surgery) with my wife. Unnecessarily we had to face the remarkable trouble while traveling by the train. Finally we had to pay the unjustified fine amount of Rs. 800/- to the TTE.

    Now the saddest thing is that the TTE did not arrange us a single seat while traveling. We had to spend the long journey of 15 hours in front of the toilet door without sleeping and seat. Now sir, what will be your comment after knowing my bad experience with the railway organization? Probably I don’t know how many passengers have been suffering like us on daily basis.

    Now the conclusion is that you can not return me anything apart from the fine amount and reservation charges. That’s why I want to claim of Rs. 800/- plus the reservation charges with interest from the prestigious railway organization ASAP. Please reimburse my claim.



    Hopefully we will get justice from our prestigious Railway organization. Expecting my claim ASAP. If you want to know any other information apart from this please let me know through the email.

    Default Irregularity In Reservation for Rajdhani /Stabdhi

    Defence personnel of Air Force Stn Halwara Comming under District Ludhiana, Punjab. While asking reservation for self and their family on FRW/CVs are not getting reservation in Rajdhani and Satabdi Express trains at LDH Junction stating that there is a regulation that if they are to travel by the said trains they are only permitted to travel through shortest route,especially for people travailing to North/North-East. The same route reservation are being done through Agents by paying Rs 400/- per ticket. Please look into such cases as some mismanagement is going on at railway station LDH. The same route reservation are being done by other railways stations.If this is a rule then it should be implemented by all the Indian railways stations.

    lucknow Date of Boarding 27/01/2010 and train was cancelled that day,I go & informe my agent but still I have not received any amount from him.His details and the ticket details are mentioned. He always gave excuses that he dont receive money in his account. Please if you could help with this as soon as possible.

    Default Tough to get tatkal reservation online

    I am very regular user of online reservartion site of railway. But to book ticket online in tatkal category is impossible nowadays. The server is not accessible during first 2 hours in the morning. I dont know what this facility is for? These days tatkal facility is only for the name sake while earlier it was not the case.

    I appreciate the time of Sh. Lalu Prasad ji when I dint face this problem even once. Hats off to him.

    Exclamation Agents and Railway staff nexus at Chinchwad Station, Pune

    Dear Sir,
    I needed a ticket on Tatkal from Pune to Delhi. I went to Chinchwad Railway station early in the morning. Only few people were present outside. I stand in the queue for almost two hours. When the policemen opened the gate, suddenly all these agents came from nowhere and occuopied first five places on all three lines. When people tried to Protest they abused them and threatened with dire consiquences. Also they had multiple forms with them. And Railway reservation staff took bribe for each form from the agents and did the Tatkal booking. By the time all the agents were done with their booking, we left with No Tatkal seats availability.
    I request you to llok into this nexus and rwegularise these Unathorise behaviour of these agenets. The Police (RPF) also seems to be getting money from these agents. As I saw one of them coming to the agents and taking 100 Rs from him.

    Dear All,

    this if for those who booked their complaints online on website railways and just an awareness. I am also one of the person among you but I did'nt complaint on website becoz u should know few things before complaining online.
    1. Railways does 'nt care anyone who directly or indirectly lost the money
    2. Railways being govt. org. it never cares for complaints booked on website.
    3. No person is there in railways to check website complaints becoz they dont know how to access or check the things on daily basis and even if they check they dont bother your complaint.
    4. Consumer court accepts your complaints only you directly reach them.

    My friends, I had read each and every one complaints and really I feel very bad about the situations you had faced.

    What I suggest is directly go to consumer court and book the complaint, this may help you people.

    Default no seperate ticket counters for ladies at ranchi railway station

    sir,
    i face so much problem during travelling since i m from ranchi and always travells under general.
    it takes approx an hour to take a ticket from railway counter. there is no seperate ticket counters for girls also only two or three counter remains open. so it becomes too crowded.
    i hope in future this problem will be solved or in 20 or 30 years . this is not the problem of only ranchi but also may be of some other stations also.

    Question Complain against cancellation of Waiting tickets from New Delhi to Muzafarpur

    Dear Sir ,
    I ,Dr.Ravindra Nath Sharma,Resident of Muzaffarpur,Bihar,have booked 4 railway tickets of AC 2 tier coach ,in train no.12562,Swatantrata Senani Super Fast Express,for date of journey - 22nd October, Departure time -8:40 pm(20:40 pm).My ticket was under waiting till the chart had been prepared on the due date.So i went unable to follow our journey.

    On the very same time, i went to reservation counter to cancel the 4 booked waiting tickets,but due the heavy croud and scheduled closing of ticket counter, i was unable to cancel it.Then on next day , i again went to railway ticket booking counter in morning to cancel all the wait listed tickets, but the service personel get rejected the proposal to cancel it by saying that ,the day is sunday 23rd october ,and suggested to write an application to the higher authority for futher procedure to be done and revert me back.Due to such problem i was unable to book another tickets due to non-refundable of money from the last booked 4 tickets.It is the wastage of time and money along with the mental and physical harrasment as the said procedure would go long and their is no surity of return of my booked ticket money.

    I therefore request to you to kindly admit my case and consider it and provide me the required money that to be returned after cancellation of all tickets along with the ineterest as i felt harrasment in this matter.

    Shree Balaji Travels : Owner name :Mr.Babu is not having any railway license but he is taking 300Rs per ticket extra charge for booking Tatkal ticket.language when some one tells about the illegal work. He uses abusive lanTake a strict action over him immediately.

    i am a regular traveller on pune mysore route by train swarn jayanti which originates from mysore and goes upto nizamuddin (n delhi) and every time at pune railway station i see policemen in civil clothes harrasing passengers by checking their luggage and then on the pretext of checking the passenger,s mobile phone and laptops they start harrasing him that his gadget has porn material and they start treating him like a terrorist and i have even seen them taking hefty bribes from innocent passengers who get scared from being arrested or getting unboard from train . the leader of the group is a bald policeman in civil clothes. please look into the matter. it gives a very bad name .

    Unhappy Wrong report by TTE Raiways to IRCTC against TDR

    I booked eticket PNR - 6101316117 but I could not travel as train was late around 5- 6 hrs at Moradabad Station. So I booked TDR on next day by choosing the reason that Train late by more than 3 hrs, passenger not travelled. IRCTC refused to refund tha amount as they received the reply from concerned railways that passenger has travelled. It is just impossible as I joined my duty next day before train reaches at Jalandhar station. I have sufficient evidances by which it can be prooved that I have not travelled.

    In this case the concerned TTE should be penalised to submit the wrong information and some system should be introduced e.g. fill up of ID card number in the chart by TTE during ID verification.

    I would request to take the matter with the concerned for my refund.
