Sir, I planned a trip to Dubai with Travelmasti delhi through its outbound tour operator Ms Jasmine Mehta(jasmine@travelmasti.com)enquiry no 523583.
She offered the trip for 2 adults Satish K vats & Madhu S Vats)as Rs 36000 Each and agreed to accept part money in US$. I paid 700 Us $ at exchnage rate of Rs 54.80 as intimated by her on my email id ,satishkvats@gmail.com on Jan 9th at 03;10pm. then One Mr Pratap began calling my nos( 7838187177 & 9418053870). for payments and passport scans. On 18th Jan he called me in AN to collect balance money from my hom e A8/20 Rana Pratap Bagh, which I accepted to pay . Before someone could actually collect the balance money, I slipped at home and thought to hold further payments till I was cleared By doctor for travel and sent a SMS to Jasmine(8800453131) & a call to Pratap(9871971444)( or perhaps the person deputed to make the collection) that I shall pay on the next day after consulting a Doctor. Next day I was diagnosed having a fracture in left foot and put on 3 weeks plaster. I informed Jasmine as soon as I came out of Hospital. She told that perhaps besides one night cancellation fee by hotel Rs 4000 Each could be deducted by airlines Indigo For cancellation Having no recourse I informed of cancellation by e- mail along with a photograph showing myself in plaster. There after Mr pratap rang me on 21st/22nd stating there is full cancellation charge on air tickets, Rs 15500 each In this case. I naturally refused to accept , stating the airlines website states rs 1500 each for international flights. Thereafter they have stopped responding to my mails, and even the balance amount has not been sent to me. Yes they succeeded in convincing the hotel for no cancellation charge and informed me accordingly.
I wrote to them on e-mail that this is not contained in any of their communications. except ` in case of cancellation charges as per hotel & airlines policy` But that they are under obligation to write clearly of the risks involved and can not hide such a threat in simple words like policy. Policy what ever has to be clearly spelled out. I have not received any reply. YES THEY NEVER sent any ticket to me till my cancellation.
